Jocelyn sat at her vanity, propping her phone on the ring light. She hit "Go Live" and gave a little wave to the camera, smiling at her reflection on the screen.

"Hey, guys! I'm getting ready for this pool party today and thought, why not bring y'all along for a little get ready with me? Also, I cannot believe we just hit 900K followers! Seriously, thank you guys so much for the love!"

Comments started popping up quickly, and Jocelyn leaned in to read a few. "Okay, I see y'all asking about cheer—yes, practice has been going so good. This season's already off to a crazy start. I'm on SSX this year again and practices have been wild. Like, we're pulling out some insane stunts, and I can't wait for you guys to see it."

She picked up her brush and started running it through her hair. "For today, though, we're keeping it super chill—just gonna do a little beachy wave look. I'm not about to go all out just for a pool party, you know?"

She grabbed her curling wand and started wrapping small sections of her hair around it, letting them fall into loose waves. "Y'all already know this is my go to pool look. Low effort but still cute."

While waiting for the curls to cool, she picked up a blue bikini from her bed, holding it up for the camera. "Okay, so this is what I'm wearing. Yes, this is that bikini—the one my male friend said he liked last week." She gave a dramatic eye-roll but smirked. "He's not even coming to this party, so it's not for him, but like, I can't lie... he was kinda right. The blue looks good."

She refused to say Arvid's name online, she did not want to be included in gossip.

Jocelyn stepped out of frame for a second to change into the bikini, then came back and grabbed a pair of light-wash jean shorts from the bed. "I'm just gonna throw these on over the bikini," she said, slipping into the shorts and adjusting them. "And this cute little crop top I got the other day." She pulled a white crop top over her head.

"Okay, what do we think? Cute, right? It's casual but still gives that 'I tried just enough' vibe." She read a few comments as she adjusted her sunglasses on her head. "Yes, the top is from PacSun—y'all are fast!"

Jocelyn checked the time. "Alright, I need to finish packing my purse, but I'll take y'all with me once I get there. Love y'all! And again, thank you for 900K!" She blew a kiss to the camera, then ended the live.

When Jocelyn arrived at Taylor's house, the party was already starting . Music blasted from the speakers, and people were either splashing around in the pool or lounging on the chairs spread around the deck. She waved at a few familiar faces as she walked in, feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin.

"Jocelyn! Over here!" Taylor called from one of the lounge chairs, her sunglasses pushed up on her head.

Jocelyn grinned and headed over, tossing her towel onto a nearby chair before sitting down next to her. "Hey! It's already so packed," she said, looking around.

"Yeah, I guess everyone needed a day to chill by the pool. You look cute, by the way—loving the blue bikini." Taylor gave her a nod.

"Thanks! It's the one I was talking about on my live earlier. Remember, Arvid said he liked it?"

Taylor smirked. "Oh, yeah. Too bad he's not here to appreciate it in person."

Jocelyn shrugged. "Eh, it's whatever. He's busy, and I'm just here to relax." She leaned back in the chair, letting the sun warm her skin. "What's the plan for today? Just hang out, swim, and eat a bunch of snacks?"

"Pretty much," Taylor replied, glancing toward the pool. "I think some of the guys are gonna do flips off the diving board later. You know how it goes—everyone trying to impress someone."

Jocelyn laughed. "Sounds about right."

As they settled in, a few other friends joined them, all chatting and catching up. One of the girls, Ava, sat down on the edge of Jocelyn's chair. "I saw your latest TikTok—900K? Girl, you're blowing up!"

"I know, it's crazy! I never thought I'd get this far," Jocelyn said, smiling. "But honestly, I'm so grateful. It's been a wild ride, and y'all know I'm just having fun with it."

"Well, you're killing it," Ava said. "And I've been keeping up with your cheer stuff, too. SSX this season is going to be insane, huh?"

"Yup!" Jocelyn nodded enthusiastically. "We've been putting in so much work already. I think this might be our best season yet."

"Are you guys doing anything new this year?" another friend asked, leaning in.

"Oh, for sure. I can't spill too much, but let's just say our pyramid is gonna be next level. I don't think anyone's ready for it," Jocelyn replied, a proud smile on her face.

"I can't wait to see you guys at comps," Ava said. "You always bring it."

Jocelyn basked in the compliments, feeling a wave of excitement for the upcoming cheer season. She glanced toward the pool, watching as a few guys were already lining up to take turns off the diving board.

"Look at them," Taylor said, nudging Jocelyn. "You can tell they're all just trying to impress someone."

Jocelyn laughed, sliding her sunglasses down over her eyes. "Of course they are. It's a pool party, and half of them are probably filming TikToks."

One of the boys, Luke, ran up to the board and did a messy front flip into the pool, coming up laughing as water splashed everywhere.

"Not bad," Ava said, clapping her hands slowly. "But I've seen better."

Luke walked over, shaking water from his hair. "Give me a break! It's the first flip of the day."

Jocelyn grinned. "You're warming up, huh?"

"Exactly," Luke said, flashing her a smile. "I'll do something better in a bit."

"Uh-huh, sure," Jocelyn teased, leaning back in her chair. "We'll be waiting."

As the day went on, Jocelyn found herself relaxing more and more, chatting with her friends, taking dips in the pool, and just enjoying the carefree summer vibes. She took a moment to grab her phone and snap a few pictures for Instagram, captioning them with something light like, Pool day w/ my girls.

Toward the end of the party, as the sun started to set, Jocelyn stretched out on her lounge chair, feeling the warmth of the sun fading into the evening. She smiled to herself, happy with how the day had turned out.

No Arvid, no drama—just a perfect day by the pool with her friends. And, as always, her TikTok followers were along for the ride, supporting her every step of the way.
