"So..."

"Yeah..." Minho awkwardly positioned his hands to his side as the inebriated boy vomited into a paper bag loudly, surely startling some people in the area. If Minho didn't know any better, he might've thought a wild animal got led there somehow.

"I'm sorry to give you such an odd first impression, Ms. Han" Minho spoke formally.

"No, Minho. Just call me Hana" She said softly, making Minho feel waves less tense, lowering his shoulders as if a weight was lifted off of them as he sighed.

With Jisung's endless bad-mouthing of his mother in conversations between them, Minho had subconsciously developed some sort of prejudged notions for his mom. He was thankful that she could at least pretend to not be like...that.

The moment instantly turned less heartwarming when loud vomiting noises attacked both of their ears, particularly Minho's as he had better hearing. He winced.

"I suppose I'll take care of this..:" Jisung's mother, who Minho now identified as Hana, glanced to the side at Jisung before making a sour expression.

"You can go now, Minho" She smiled politely, but just as she was about to shut the door in his face, Minho quickly stopped her by putting his hand between the door, internally grateful his hand wasn't crushed.

"One more thing" He chuckled awkwardly, diverting his eyes to his friend still hunched over a bucket for a moment before putting them back on Hana as she tilted her head. "What?"

He scratched his head and put his other hand into the back pocket of his black baggy ripped jeans, taking out a small bottle of what looked to be hangover pills.

"Just give this to him when he's normal, okay?" Jisung's mother nodded, reaching out for the pills and grabbing them.

"I'll, uhh...bye" Minho smiled awkwardly and waved to Jisung's mom, making her wave back weakly before shutting the door in his face. Minho let out a long sigh of relief.

He breathed out, taking another step away from the door.

He shook his head trying to snap himself back to reality, which he managed to do, and when he did, he lost himself again by staring at the night sky, finding the moon comforting in a way.

For once, the sky was clear and he could see multiple stars shine as bright as the sun would've if it was daytime.

Jisung's house was right by the park that they had gone to a while ago. Minho walked towards it, eyes still staring up at the sky although he was walking on the road.

If not for the street lights, Minho felt like it might've been almost pitch black. Even if it were, he would probably still be able to direct his steps to the park by pure memory.

Minho knew he had reached the park without even glancing away from the sky, but he looked down regardless just to confirm.

The bench was right next to him, but for some reason, Minho felt compelled to simply lie down on the grass and look at the stars above him. He cringed at himself for a moment. What was this? A movie?

Although...nobody was monitoring him anyway, so he might as well have done whatever he wanted to while no one was there to judge him, he thought.

The boy sat down calmly, the stars in the sky seeming to reflect in his eyes. He could barely blink.

He threw his head back and sighed, now lying on the grass, closing his eyes. Somehow, he didn't need them open to see the stars. He still opened them ultimately.

Since the place where the party was being hosted was close to Jisung's house, he could still hear the faint sound of music coming from there.

He smiled, sort of thankful to Jisung that he had gotten him out of there even though he was annoyed at the time. Seriously, what was Minho thinking, going to a party just to not be left isolated? He wasn't even that lonely.
