Fifty Shades Of His Ana

Chapter 23

Christian wanted to go back to work on Monday because he said that he wanted to get back to his routine. He and Ana had lunch together in his office and she was making him laugh. It lifted his spirits after everything they had been through. He started going to Flynn every week again like clock work to overcome some of the emotional baggage he was carrying around inside from the abduction. He told Flynn that Ana made it easy on him transitioning back to some semblance of normalcy. She made him smile and did little cute things to show how much she loves him. 

Flynn told him that he was going to be married to her in less than a month. Christian said that he couldn't wait for her to be completely all his. He asked Flynn if he was coming to the wedding with Rhian. Flynn said he wouldn't miss it for the world.

The following three days later, Ana and Christian were relaxing on the couch curled up together after dinner. Ana was laying back on Christian's chest as they watched TV. Ana and Christian saw the news report flash across the screen, but were told about it last night by Uncle George.

"This is Lisa Garcia from the Action 12 News Team. I am at the King County Courthouse where Jacqueline Cagney has been remanded in custody from the FBI. She is being arraigned in the morning for the kidnapping of a local prominent business man. She has also been reported by underage victims as a pedophile also and will be held in solitary confinement. The charges for this is six counts each for Sex With A Minor, Child Pornography and Child Abuse. Evidence found in her possession of the crimes against children. She is being charged with the murder of two of three of her husbands in two other states. She is being called a serial killer and was stepping up the ladder to richer men. After the prosecutor tries her case, she will serve her time here and then in the states of the trials in the other murders if found guilty. If all charges stick it will be life in prison in some of the other states being charged for Aggravated Premeditated Murder. This is Lisa Garcia for Action 12 News."

Ana said sardonically, "Couldn't have happened to a more deserving crazy bitch. Glad I got a chunk of that dirty whore for what she's done to you. She's lucky I didn't kill her."

Christian started kissing her neck and said, "My avenging protective angel. I love you so much I must taste you." He bit her neck and Ana squealed laughing. He started chuckling. He loved her laughter.

It was December 23, one week before the wedding and the day after tomorrow was Christmas. Ana had been busy getting all their presents together for his family and she had secretly wrapped all of his gifts. She dropped them at her apartment and hid them under her bed because she was going to let him think they were here at Escala. She busted him four times searching under beds and closets in other rooms. She would sneak up and tickle him or goose him. She ran like hell through the penthouse but he always caught her throwing her over his shoulder making her giggle and squeal. He was such a kid.

Christian had never had so much fun in his life being teased and chasing her around. He told Flynn, "It was like I never lived until her. She breathed life into me in that helicopter with her kind little kisses and touches. She saved me from so much more than the crash. I just knew she was so very special instantly. I trusted her immediately. I never thought I could fall in love in a second like that when I was so closed off to everyone else. She's a force of nature and I know I'll never be the same ever and I'm just fine with that. She's my miracle." He smiles everytime thinking about that conversation.

Ana had Taylor go get Christian's presents on Christmas Eve so he wouldn't suspect. Taylor put them under the tree when Christian and Ana went to bed. He had kept them in the employees apartment because he had already searched there a couple times in the last few days.
