Cyborg's POV:

This was NOT how i wanted my night to go. Me and Beastie left the Doom Patrol to find ourselves and learn something new and he thought Jump City of all the places was a good idea.

Anyways, look where that got us.

A mission to rescue some purple-haired shortie from some random guy, especially considering she has the sidekick of one of the world's strongest heroes to protect her.

But, nah. Our Gar Logan has got it under control.

"Alright, Beast Boy." I said trying to keep my cool while my scanners hacked through a whole lot of surveillance footage. "We've got to find out where those two are headed. So just... Bear with me here, yeah? "

Now, that was clearly too much asking. Gar had his face stuck to the glass wall of the GameStop store, "There it is... " He whimpered, "The new PS5 Pro... After all this time... "

I swear I saw him drooling. "Are you serious right now?! " I pulled him by the collar and grabbed him as I walked,

"Focus, BB. This was your idea to save Raven. Mission first, PS5 later.
I don't get why you're so obsessed with these two, man. "

"Raven needs help. I felt it. "

"Not the first time you're talking like this after seeing a girl. "

"Yeah, I know. But this time it's different! I know it. It's like when I saw her I saw everything that I had to see. I was getting so warm and everything an-"

I interrupted his simping narrative the moment I got a lead, "Bub Bub. I've got something. They stopped at a gas station a while back and it looks like they are heading towards a motel. "

"What do they need a motel for? " He asked dumbly.

"I don't know, probably to lay her." I whispered to myself.

"HEY I HEARD THAT! " He snapped faster than he ever had.

"I'm just saying. Now as I was saying, we head to the motel now, find them and figure out what's going. What do you say? "

"Eh works for me. "

"Good."

*TIME JUMP*

We reached the motel in record time. And by record time I mean faster than I ever walked while listening to Beast Boy complaining about missing out on a PS5.

The motel was exactly how you would expect. Remote, flickering neon signs and everything. It seemed pretty sketchy for a bright place like Jump City and it's still 10PM.

We walked into the parking lot and Beast Boy stopped me, "LOOK! It's Robin's Dodge Challenger. They were here for sure. We make such a good detective team! "

At this point, I'm not even mad. This isn't the first time he barely did anything at all and say we put in a team effort.

"Alright, BB," I said, keeping my voice low. "Here's the plan. We can't just walk in there. We've gotta stay unnoticed."

Beast Boy nodded, a determined look on his face. I had to admit, for a guy who's usually more concerned with video games and pizza, he was locked in on this. He was obsessed with finding Raven.

Whether it was his animal instincts or something else, I wasn't sure, but the guy was driven.

"I'll stay here, keep watch on the parking lot," I continued, checking my scanners one last time. "You go in, quiet and small. Get the lay of the land. Find out which room they're in. If youre about to get caught... run."
