AARAV'S POV
"He wants to play with fire?" I chuckle humorlessly, "fine, I will burn him." I look at Ms. Hinal sitting in front of me, her ruined mascara, her sobs fills the room.
"There's no point in crying." I get up from my chair walking towards her. I lean in to whisper in her ear, "you should have thought before fucking that man." I growl, "you're fired."
"Sir, no!" She exclaims, I stand straight, "now get out." I command. "Sir please-" She continues, I continue walking calmly towards my chair, taking a seat again. "There's no room for sympathy when it comes to betrayal," I throw over my shoulder. "You knew the rules."As I settle into my seat, I can see the shock etched on Hinal's face. She is visibly shaken, her eyes wide with disbelief. It takes her a moment to gather herself.
"You..." she starts, her voice betraying her surprise. "You can't just fire me.""Oh," I respond coolly, my expression betraying nothing. "And why not?"
"If I stoop to my level, I will make sure you'll never get a job again Hinal." I sigh. "It had be better if you leave, if you don't want to face my wrath. This is me being nice."
Her face goes white, she gets up from her chair and hurries out of the door. Thank god she has little brain left in her.Vikram Khanna. She slept with him. Normally I don't care about my employees love lives, but right now, her ignorance costed me 200 crores worth deal. He's my Rival. Everyone knows our equation, still she decided to warm his bed, on the top of that, she choose to neglect the fact that he was stealing my company's secrets. He took the perfect opportunity, he knew she's my secretary so she might have access to most of my work and so he must have lured her in, good to know he's good at something. But now he will have to pay. I have had enough. This has went on yoo long. Our history goes back to college. He was the popular guy, I was the nerdy one. He always bullied everyone around as if he owned the school. And like everyone else, I could never fight him. I was too emerged in my own problems, I was too shaken with what was going on at home. Nothing he could do, to compare what I felt at home. But now we have grown up, it's not his school and I am definitely not weak anymore. I can fight back now. I hope he knew he was starting a war, because I fully intend to destroy him this time.
A knock on my door interrupts my thoughts, and I look up to see Samarth, my best friend, standing in the doorway. He's the only man I can believe blindly except Rudraksh bhai. He's been with me since we were in our knickers.
"You called?" he asks.I gesture for him to take a seat, my expression betraying nothing of my inner turmoil. "Yes, I did."
"Let me guess, we are going to ruin him?" He says, I chuckle, "yes, I am fulfilling your wish." He has been advising me since a year now to put an end to this, but I am a patient man, but now enough is enough.
"Fucking finally." He smirks. This isn't just about a deal or a personal grudge—it's about reclaiming my power and making sure everyone knows not to cross me.Samarth nods, his eyes gleaming with determination. "I've already started gathering information. He's been too comfortable for too long. It's time to shake things up."
"Good," I reply, leaning back in my chair. "I want him to regret ever thinking he could mess with me." I grunt."Let's pay him a visit." I whisper, my voice emotionless. "Get the chauffeur ready." I command, he nods his head. Vikram Khanna started this fire, but I will be the one to burn him down.
