"Look at me, Usagi."

Boruto didn't. He sat, slumped against the kitchen cupboard, chest heaving. Blood trickled down his cheek, but he could barely feel it anymore. All he could feel was his blood
pounding in his ears, his heart beating out of his chest. The air catching in his throat, and the overwhelming longing for home.

His thoughts were interrupted by a hand seizing his chin, wrenching his head around so he was looking straight into the man's eyes. The man. That's right. Boruto still didn't know who he was and it'd been three days.

"When I tell you to look at me, you look, little Rabbit." He said softly.

Boruto didn't miss the threatening edge to his words. Oh, how he longed to kill that motherfucker. He hated him. Hated himself for falling into his damn trick. And that nickname. He had a name. Boruto. Bo-ru-to. Bolt. And yet the man hadn't once called him that. It was always Rabbit. You're like a little rabbit, caught in a trap and willing to chew off your own leg to escape. His words rang in Boruto's head. Damn bastard.

They had likely been the worst three days of Boruto's life. Such a short span of time, and yet he'd been so miserable. Well, it was all that bastard's fault. He was the one who'd dragged him there. Put him through this.

Where was his dad? His friends? They would come, right? Sure, Boruto had said some... choice words when he'd left the house last, but they hadn't been unprovoked. Surely they wouldn't be hung up on that? They wouldn't still be focused on it? Right?

They were coming, weren't they?

No, little rabbit. Not yet.

A/N: Hope y'all enjoy! If not, sorry. It's my first fic, I'll try and improve! I'm doing my GCSE's so updates will be irregular, but I'll let you know if it ends up abandoned

Pretty short chapter today, it is like 10 to midnight and I have to sleep though. I'll try upload tomorrow!
