A/N YIKES

This took ages.

Feel like it lowkey flopped, so sorry guys

But I wrote this instead of finishing my Design & Technology homework, so yeah

...

Holy fuck.

She screwed up this time.

Karin shot a glance over her shoulder, white knuckled grip on the steering wheel. The boy was slumped in the back seat, still and unmoving. A teensy bit of blood was trickling down his side, but not that much. Definitely not... staining all the seat under his head.

Karin swallowed the lump in her throat.

People still didn't particularly like her after the whole Orochimaru thing, but she'd been forgiven. Mostly. The last thing she needed was an underage manslaughter charge. She doubted a court would rule in her favour, even if she insisted how he practically jumped right in front of her car.

Had he jumped? Was it deliberate? Suicide? She glanced again. He looked too young to try and kill himself. He had looked rather surprised to see the car. He'd looked scared.

What was a boy like him doing out here, all the way in the Land of Grass? It was a bad place for any child to be, especially alone.

"How did you get out here?" She murmured.

"Looked like he was running from something. Maybe like... a bear or something." The man next to her piped up.

"Oh, please. Nearest bears to here are in the north of the Land of Earth. There aren't any bears here Suigetsu." She muttered.

"You never know, Karin. You never know."

"Just shut the fuck up."

Karin still wasn't sure what to do with... the boy. He could be anyone, but a nagging feeling in the back of her head told her the boy wasn't just some random Land of Grass street orphan, despite the copious amounts. He didn't look like he lived in the Land Of Grass either, a little too held together than most she'd seen, and when she'd hit him (not her fault) he'd half rolled when he hit the ground. It cushioned the impact a little, but he'd hit her head on, so it hadn't done much.

"You don't know what to do, do you?" Suigetsu cut through her thoughts, peering at her curiously.

"Well- I- this is a bad situation, Suigetsu! I have a half-dying, brutally injured child in my back seat that's likely one wrong turn from dying! Manslaughter isn't on my agenda this week, and I'm not in the mood. So no, Suigetsu, I don't know what to do." Karin snapped.

"I might... know a guy," Suigetsu mused, staring absently out of the window. "He could help us out, and... destroy the evidence, if you know what I mean."

"The kid ain't dead yet, Suigetsu! So cut it out, I don't wanna meet any of your sicko bastard friends, ok? They're all psychopaths, you keep terrible company."
