Story of two medicos ....
I sat silent, my heart pounding out of my chest, and my stomach forming that familiar knot. I was enjoying his smell. I began to sweat when a veiny hand wiped it. It is his hand of course.

" Pass me the clip Sana. I am almost done" akki said . " Sure , but akki this is your day ! You are the one who is supposed to shine . I'll take care of my hair .. Ksheera akka can also help!" I said to Akki.
"Exactly it's my day ... So , I get to decide what I am supposed to do and you all are the reason behind my shine." said Akki.
"Whatever you do this little one will end up being betaal. I cant believe that she is my twin .. look at me - the definition for perfection" said Dhruv smugly.
" Yea you are right .. you are perfect .. the perfect example of a buffalo " I said .
"Dhruv .. ahem you are wearing the kurta wrong .. and your hair is messed up .. go change and I'll set your hair up " Akki said.
" I knew it ! I was just testing your observation" and he ran into the changing room.
The engagement was happening in our hometown, Rajahmundry . The decorations were beautiful .

Our house was decorated with lotuses , lilies, jasmine buds and pink roses.
Akki got ready in her elegant cream saree and was looking stunning.
I and Dhruv were also ready. I looked really beautiful in that lehenga which akki chose for me.

Maa and Nanna also wore pink. Ksheera akka , the daughter of my dad's younger brother was looking gorgeous in white. My aunt and uncle passed away few years back due to the pandemic. Ksheera akka , is now a famous businesswoman in Kolkata.
"Oh my god senorita you look magnificent .. I feel like I am bewitched to adore you" complimented my to be bro-in-law. "Oh that's nice of you senor ... you look too fine today" I said. "May I know where Prakriti is" he asked with his hands on the nape of his neck. "Oh boy! Just wait for the rituals to start ... too eager you are" I teased and senor blushed.
The rituals now began and akki was called to the mandap.
Tanmay's POV
She came in. Wow ! I mean words are not enough to express her beauty. Poetry would be insufficient too. Even the sculptures of the temple are not as beautiful as her. She looked angelic in that cream saree. My heart was pounding too fast as my eyes locked with hers. "Hello , you look so cute" she said . I could not say a word as soon as I heard her voice and her blush was visible. I was being a teenage boy in love. I let out a smile and she whispered "impressive".
The pandit asked us to exchange rings and garland each other. We did so. And now I am engaged to the most beautiful woman in the universe. Pranay was cheering and my parents were delighted. I never imagined that I would get married to a doctor. I did not want to get hitched to someone this soon but my thoughts changed after meeting her.
Dhruv's POV
I am elated . My sister is engaged to the love of her life. The smile in her face makes my day. I felt something on my arm .. it's betaal.
"Duvvi they look awesome together " she said sniffling. She was hiding her ugly crying behind my arm. I was trying hard not to let out any emotions. The news of the match , the engagement and wedding everything was happening too fast. "Here take this tissue betaal" I said trying to wipe her tears.
I caught YoYo's eye. She gave me an assuring smile and motioned me to control Sana. Bro was busy checking my sister out in front of the whole family but I dont blame him. These three sisters of mine were looking drop dead gorgeous. My mom is no less too . She looked so peaceful, simple and happy. Nanna was trying to hide his tears. Now I understand why I am trying hard to battle my emotions.
"If she chose to be with you ... I know that you will always keep her happy. I am just going to let you know that if anything goes wrong I'll be the first one at your doorstep" I said to my brother in law .
"Akki and senor come on ... quick ! pose for a photo" Sana said. I wonder how her mood changes as fast as a speeding train.

The kheer was so delicious . I was finally done with eating and now we were cleaning the house. From Day after tomorrow the wedding festivities start. So we all decided to sleep for sometime as tomorrow would be a long day.
