Rybak:
One breath, and she shattered it , last night with that college student. ‘What was his name again? Damn, I couldn't get my mind off it. What am I doing? I need something to distract me from last night.’ Rybak decided to call his parents, hoping to pass the time and escape his thoughts.
His mother asked about his daily life and work, to which he replied that everything was fine. But their conversation was cut short when she received a call from his father, promising to talk to him later.
It was only seven in the morning, and he realized he had forgotten to make breakfast. With important client meetings ahead, where he'd have to plaster on fake smiles, and an even more crucial dinner later that evening, Rybak found his mind drifting back to those enchanting, sparkling eyes he couldn’t tear his gaze from.
Rybak arrived at the dinner far too early, nerves fraying, desperate to leave as quickly as possible. But the night stretched on, long and unforgiving.
Soon, an over middle-aged man with salt-and-pepper hair, perfectly styled, entered the room. His tailored suit, undoubtedly from a renowned brand, caught the light with every bold and confident step he took. The sharp yet soft clink of designer heels followed, echoing in the quiet room. They finally seated themselves across from Rybak at the reserved table, who had been waiting for an hour.
Daphne:
Daphne grew irritated at having to abandon her wild fantasies. She had been enjoying them, and the interruption not only spoiled her fun but also disrupted the flow of her new writing project. After cleaning her sex toy and with a quick hot shower, Daphne went to check in with her father. Charles, her father, immediately yelled at her for not responding quickly enough.
“What is wrong with you, Daphne? Don't you try to listen? What are you standing there for, you little bitch? I called you for a reason. Don’t you dare try to deny my plans for ya. I’m warning you!”
“You treat me like dirt! Why do you always have to yell like that? Can't you see how disgusted I am every time I look at you? It's already spilled. MY FAMILY. You've already torn our family apart, but you keep denying it with your blind fantasies!”
“Don’t talk bullshit! ! Ugh, what a nuisance! You’re nothing but a pest!”It’s such a joy having you as my daughter!
“Bitch! Keep your ears open. You HAVE to come to dinner! Got it?”
“Yes Charles, keep your eyes open and watch how I dig a grave for you! You’ll pay me respect when you’re begging me for EVERYTHING!”
Daphne’s mother, Priscelle, intervened, dragging Daphne away from the confrontation. With folded hands, Priscelle pleaded with her to behave decently at dinner. Daphne’s two younger siblings, excited about the special dinner and the rare treat of good food, rushed back to their rooms to finish their homework early. Daphne, seething with anger, felt as though she had just escaped from hell. She had considered skipping the dinner a million times, but her father’s humiliating words had ignited a fire in her. Because she got burns for nothing.
Determined to shame him, Daphne dressed in the most inappropriate outfit she could find. As a renowned writer, she was used to drawing attention wherever she went, and tonight was no exception.
When she took her seat next to Rybak, she glittered like gold. Rybak barely noticed her—until she traced her soft fingers along his thigh. The gesture made him uneasy, but when he finally turned to look at her, he was mesmerised by her appearance. Her dress revealed the radiant, golden skin just below her collarbones. He instantly regretted his decision to acknowledge her.
