As busy as the sun, she hurried back home, her mind already racing to her next task. She quickly dialled Selene, her best friend, to chat about their usual, mundane lives.
"Oh my damn!" she yelled, "I met this Hot Chill Mr. Arrogant in a café today, for a meeting. I should’ve seen it coming—I’ve got a great eye for appreciating things!"
"Only a blinding fool could relate to that! You dumb!" Selene shot back with a laugh.
"Ahh, I forgot to tell him he left his purse in my car earlier," she suddenly remembered. "I should give it to him at our next meeting. Wait a minute... is there even going to be a next meeting? Uhm, considering how I behaved earlier…” forgetting Selene who's on the line.
" Yo! Yahhh, Are you still on the line?" Selene barked.
"Yeah, yeah, I was just thinking about that charming person I met earlier. Should I tell him he's a pain for my eyes?" Daphne muttered, letting her thoughts wander.
"You know, you should go now. I've got something to do and you should do better wooing him," Selene said, her voice trailing off.
Daphne got up from her messy bed and headed to the bathroom. "It's such a tiring day! Woof," she sighed.
With music and the shower both on, the water cascading over her, her thoughts drifted back to his tanned physique and those piercing green eyes. Slowly, her trembling fingers began to graze her slender shoulders as she arched her neck back and touched herself.
"Ahh, it hurts!" she murmured, caught between pain and pleasure. "Hold on, why am I even thinking about that rogue? Like, now? For real?" A confused smirk escaped her lips as she tried harder to shake off the memory of those ocean eyes.
A loud noise from downstairs jolted her already confused mind, adding to her growing unease. Wrapping a towel around herself, she reluctantly went to check out the commotion downstairs. She felt like she was barely holding herself together amidst the chaos, but she had something that kept her going: ‘Keep swimming in this stormy ocean.’ It was her way of reminding herself to keep moving forward, no matter how turbulent the waters of life became.
Rybak
The clouds look heavy as his mind. Rybak walked down the streets , for an urgent client meeting with his headphones on, blasting Charlie puth’s ‘Attention’, thinking about that purse. All he can hear , ‘hng Mmmfffp! Unnf. Mmm-ahh. A-aahh... Ahn... Mngh-ph! Uhmn. Ah. Nngg. Uhmmm…A-a-ahhmmn. Ah. Ah! You are such a bittersweet caffeine for me! Rush through me cause I'm the best cookie for your caffeine!….. Ahhh! Hngg.. I'm losing my breath… can you please, please…. Slower .ahhh! Ahng ! He opened his eyes wide open, looked down with his long fingers wrapped around his shaft last night. He hated feeling like this, cause he never imagined he would find himself in this situation. Those baffled Brown caffeine looking eyes. The turmoil it caused inside him. ‘Shit! Get a grip of yourself Ray! I better stop reading those fancy BL manhwas, it dims my reality whenever I think about HIM–’
Rafael
He ignored his phone, fully immersed in writing and composing a song for his audition. Meanwhile, his phone silently displayed 10 unread messages and 5 missed calls from his girlfriend. He had completely forgotten her most important day—her shopping day.
As the stress and pressure from his girlfriend began to weigh on him, his inspiration started to slip away. Frustrated, he packed up his things and left the café, but just as he stepped outside, a nagging feeling told him he was forgetting something. Still, he hurried on, preoccupied with the problems looming ahead.
When he finally arrived, Eve, his girlfriend, yelled at him for being so late. He wished he could tell her to get lost, but he knew that would only make things worse. So, he stayed silent, biting back his words. His eyes bulged, only when he saw talking with a book seller in the shopping mall. He forgot to pay attention to his girlfriend's yelling. He just forgot EVERYTHING!
