-Dustin's POV-

10 minutes had passed, I looked over at Steve. He still looked a bit pale but not as bad as before, I looked at my watch.

Dustin: what's the temperature now?

Robin checked him again then looked at the result

Robin: 36.4
Dustin: ok I think that's good. Let's get him out and back to bed.
Robin: ok.

I got up and went to Steve's room. I searched his drawers for some fresh clothes, placing them down on his bed, then Robin came in with Steve following her.

Dustin: are you planning on staying with him tonight?
Robin: yea, I'll keep watch.
Dustin: ok, just don't...
Robin: what?
Dustin: nothing. Good night.
Robin: ok night Dusty

I left the room and shut the door behind me, then I bumped into Eddie.

Eddie: hey, is Steve ok?
Dustin: yea, Robin's keeping watch on him in case anything else happens.
Eddie: did you manage to bring the temperature down a bit?
Dustin: yea we soaked him in cold water for a bit. His temperature dropped back to 36.

His eyes lit up as I finished talking

Eddie: really? That's good.

I nodded then my expression turned serious again.

Dustin: and how are you holding up?
Eddie: I'm doing ok, Delilah checked me and my temperature's normal.
Dustin: ok good, we can't have you getting sick.
Eddie: hey, if I get sick, I'll fight it off.

He laughed but I just shook my head.

Dustin: ok, just keep checking yourself, every hour in case there's any changes.

Eddie smiled.

Eddie: don't worry man, I'll be fine.
Dustin: ok well, good night then.

I hugged Eddie like I was scared for his life

Eddie: yea, good night man.

He hugged back then went to his room. I sighed and went downstairs.

-Robin's POV-

I sat down on the bed, next to Steve after I got him dressed. I feel like a nurse, having to take care of my sick friends. Although no one else has fallen sick yet. I looked over at Steve, his eyes shut tight, his breathing was normal luckily and most of the paleness had gone.

I checked him again and sighed. His temperature had risen again to 37.1, but this time it remained stable. I read through the newspaper to see if there was any vaccinations taking place in Hawkins as I was worried for Steve, thinking he wouldn't last the night. Just then Delilah came in.

Delilah: Robin? Are you alright?

I looked up at her with a worried expression

Robin: yea it's just...

She sat down next to me as I tried to find the answer.

Robin: I'm worried Steve won't make it.
Delilah: what's the temperature?
Robin: 37.1

She sighed as she put the thermometer down on the bedside table.

Robin: it went down earlier now it's risen again slightly.
Delilah: has it gone up any higher than 37?
Robin: no it's seems stable, this time
Delilah: well that's good then.

I sighed again then she put her hand on my shoulder.

Delilah: do you think, the temperature will get higher during the night?
