Part 9 - Masao Maeda

After a long trip following her crow, she arrived at the headquaters of the Demon Slayer Corps. She was stunned to see the sizes of the mansions.

While admiring them, she caught the eye of a certain glasses-adorned kakushi.

- Lady, what are you doing here? Are you here for a uniform tweak? - He asked, approaching Kagome, trying to seem innocent-minded.

- Actually, yes. My uniform is too-

- Great, come with me, I make the uniforms and I can also change them! - He grabbed Kagome's hand, dragging her to another mansion, filled with Kakushis working on many things, something like a headquarter for them.

She, obviously, didn't like the contact, but didn't say anything not to seem rude.

- I will take your measurements and get you a new uniform, what's wrong with this one? - He clasped his hands together and grabbed a measurng tape, 'listening'.

- My uniform traps heat. I can't work like this, I need something more flowy.

- Yes, yes! - He blushed already, thinking that this is the best reason he could ever get - I'll work on it right away, would you mind coming over when the sun starts setting?

Yui was bored.

She wandered, from mansion to mansion looking for someone to talk to, stopping at a house which smelled like honey, owned by a girl who treated her like her own. It was weird seeing her in a very skimpy uniform, yet decided not to ask.

They got along well, talking about everything, and even sharing a snack together. That's when Yuki found out about hashiras and everything those twins didn't teach her.

She also got a notice on who to and who to not talk to.

"Hashiras that are kind and welcoming:

-Rengoku Kyoujuro
-Kocho Shinobu
-Iguro Obanai
-Himejima Gyoumei

Hashiras that do not like talking:

-Tomioka Giyuu
-Tokito Muichiro

Hashiras NOT to talk to (rude or odd):

-Shinazugawa Sanemi
-Uzui Tengen"

(Seeing how this was written by Mitsuri, I'm thinking Iguro won't be so nice.)

Kagome used this list as a suggestion on who to kill time with, and since Iguro's mansion was just next, both her and Mitsuri made a visit.

In the meantime, Yuki agreed to become Mitsuri's tsuguko, which made both happy. Seems that Kanroji's bubbliness brought back Yui's personality.

- Iguro-san! How are you?! Look at my new tsuguko! - Mitsuri shouted as soon as she came into his house and found him, grabbing Yui's hand and holding it up.

- Oh, I'm good. New tsuguko? Who is she? - He asked, glaring at Yui.

- She's uhhh... - Mitsuri thought for a while, not being able to recall her name, bubbling with embarrassment. - Uhh... Ummmm... Etooooo...

- It's Kagome Yui. I just passed final selection.

- Kanroji-san, isn't it a bit reckless to have a newbie as a tsuguko? - He completely ignored that Yuki was there, listening in.

- Oh, come on, Iguro-san! She's strong, I can feel it! - She squeezed her hand and pulled her a bit closer.
