I feel my heart drop to my stomach when I hear all the awful things Bri's 'mother' has done to her.
I couldn't believe that someone could want to hurt her, she's perfect.
Seeing her cry in my arms like that made me vow to always protect her.
"Please don't tell anyone about her." she sniffled, looking up at me from my arms.
"I would never baby," I replied, kissing her forehead softly.
"Pinky promise?"
I locked our pinkies together, resting my head against hers.
"Pinky promise."
