With a toolbox she gotten from the tool shed, Christy works under the car hood.
Christy's wrist comm buzzes in her pants pocket. She takes it out and looks at it.
Odessa
She walks over to the stool chair and presses the 'Green' button. Odessa's face shows up on the wrist comm screen.
"Hey, Ode." Christy greeted the Elder Goddess of Fortune Luck.
"Hey back at you, Christiana. Can you hologram me?" Odessa said.
"Sure." Christy said and presses the button.
Odessa appears as a hologram, sitting next to Christy in a stool chair.
"Is everything okay?" Christy asked.
"Everything is fine here at my home island vineyard. I have a small task to ask of you." Odessa said.
"Okay, what is it?" Christy asked.
"How do you feel about being my gamer-girl?" Odessa asked.
"Gamer-girl?" Christy asked, a bit confused.
"I'm hosting a game this afternoon called Spin-The-Wheel for my speakeasy casino guests. Each guest gets five spins upon getting an answer correct. All you have to do is just spin the wheel. You will get paid, of course." Said Odessa.
"That sounds like fun." Christy said.
"So, what do you think, Christiana? Are you able to do so?" Odessa asked.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be there." Christy said.
"Good. I'll send one of my bodyguards to lend you an outfit. You're gonna look absolutely fab in it." Odessa said.
Christy chuckled softly to herself. "Okay."
"And also, do you still have your VIP pass card?" Odessa asked.
"I used it to pay for the cocktail drinks my husband and I had when we were there at your cocktail party." Christy said.
"Alright, I'll renew it." Odessa said.
"Okay. And by the way, Ode, I know I've already thanked you for helping me, so, thank you for helping me when I was a wanted fugitive." Christy thanked her with a small smile.
Odessa small smiles at Christy. "You're welcome again, Christiana. Like I told you, you're my girl and we've known each other since your teenhood, your young adulthood and up until now."
