I softly strummed my guitar, it letting out a hum of electricity. No one ever complained about the noise, which was nice, but also lonely at times. The alarms indicating there's an intruder wailed, lighting up my room with a crimson red colour, simular to the tint of blood.

I stood up, put my guitar on my bed softly, and went to the balcony.

"and who are the weirdos on the balcony?!" A scruffy man yelled.

They walked downstairs, and stood in front of the intruders. "They are the sparrows, my children." Reginald said with his little posh accent. "What do you mean your children?" A boy in a navy blue uniform, simular to ours, asked.

"What the hell's going on five?" A lady asked.

"I'm not sure yet.. but it's concerning." He said, his hand shaking slightly.

A man in a cowboy hat looked at me warily aswell at the rest of my siblings, but kept listening to their "father". They all argued, Yada, Yada, Yada... And it ended with Ben punching the Cowboy in the jaw. Poor dude.

They all started fighting, but I just walked back to my room. I grabbed my guitar, and strummed at it softly again, humming along with it. I smiled, and silence filled the house for once. A soft pur came from beside me, and I pet the little tortoise shell kitten that lied next to me.

"Hello.." I softly say, petting the kitten. It meowed in response. I smiled softly, still dragging my fingers along the felines fur.

Another kitten popped out from under a table, a calico, and another, just a plain Russian blue. I had three cats in total, I loved them all equally. The Russian blue was named Luka, the Calico was named Luna, and the Tortoise shell was named Pheobe. Basic names, I know, but it's not the end of the world. {Yet }

I smiled as all the kittens gathered up under the warm desk, my room was always rather cold, I never liked the warmth.. it felt... icky.

I got up, and grabbed some clothes to change into. I went into the bathroom, and turned on the shower, letting the clean, awaiting clothes to rest on the rack. After I undressed and stood in the water, it was so nice it felt as if the water wasn't even touching me, as if it was phasing through me. But I finished my shower after a few slips, and shrieks.

No one answered my yelps, or cries throughout my life.. only the kittens were by my side.

I changed into new clothes, and dried my hair, brushing it out softly. I patched up a small open wound on my thigh that had been sitting there for a while. I winced a couple times, but I managed. The kittens all purred and curled up with me while I laid down. I pet the kittens, and slowly fell asleep.

I heard commotion downstairs, but I didn't bother. I stayed with the felines and stroked them with a slight possession.. as if they were my kids.

They were the only things that didn't ignore my cries and whimpers. They swallowed my sorrow and comforted me to the best of their ability. The family always wondered how the kittens got there, but they ignored it, just like they ignored me. Everyone ignored me, as if I wasn't real, as if I was a ghost to them! It was painful, annoying and oh so furiating.

I always tried to talk to people, but they all talked over me or just brushed me off as if I was a little bug on their window. Sometimes I felt like the poor hopeless bugs on the windows. Getting ignored, or something rather like that. Or getting.. killed. But obviously i wasn't killed like a bug.

I didn't notice, but cold tears dripped down my cold face. I was always pale, super duper pale, as if I was paper. I wiped be tears away, and the kittens licked the remains of the tears off my fingertips. The kittens food always remained untouched... I don't know why. The kittens looked rather.. boney. I wanted them to eat, I needed them to eat. I grabbed the bowl, and sat back on my bed. I grabbed some kitten food our the bowl, and held it up, and Luna licked at it softly, and so did Luka. Pheobe just ate out of the bowl.

They didnt look as boney now.. I was glad. I stood up, and grabbed a toy from the cupboard, it was like a little fishing rod with feathers on the end of the string. The kittens pounced and jumped, repeatedly wanting to get the feathers.

"what's that soft stomping from upstairs?" Alphonso said, mouth full of avocado toast. Jayme shrugged, and Ben went up to check.

He opened the empty room, that had a bed in it, and some stuff. He noticed the kittens were gone, but he shrugged it off as he thought he was dreaming. He walked back downstairs.

"It was nothing" he said, sitting down. "Really? I swear I heard something."

Ben walked in, not even acknowledging I exist, and he walked out. The kittens desperately lunged for the feathers, but soon got tired and lied down.

I also lied down, slowly drifting to sleep...

Wanna know why I'm always ignored? And the kittens?

Cause we are dead.
