Chapter 4: warriors of the mind (amnesia rules)

"see pigsy? I told you, this is exactly why you don't wake someone from a transcendental meditation. We broke the Monkey King!" tang scolded, pigsy shrugs not understanding his point, and glanced at Sun Wukong who was just looking in the bushes for something?, tang sighed and decided to explain more bluntly "He thinks he is his past self and we're his old companions... If we don't find a way to bring our Monkey King back, we're gonna be stuck with this one!", pigsy blinks then points at wukong who just found his 'trusty staff' "oh...So this is just the amnesia rules, right? So we bonk him on his dumb head and boom! Back to normal.", wukong turned his angry gaze to pigsy "what did you say, piglet?", pigsy returns the glare "Piglet?! Oh, that's it."... they stay still glaring at each other, wukong smirks "Master, just say the word, and this little piggy will be a steamed ham!"

, tang stood between them done about those two fighting in their current situation, their son and his friend and their big blue friend were missing and they were messing around "alright calm down... we have important stuff to worry about like what was that?? and where are mk and the others??" the two glance at him then stop and cross their arms while wukong sticks his tongue out at pigsy, tang leaves them and looks around for anything they can use to bring sun wukong's memories back... he then noticed a pair of glowing eyes looking at him and he looked at them, the pair of eyes moved around and sounds of giggles filled the forest "who is there?!" tang muttered, the pair of eyes returned and looked at him from above and chuckled "hi!" it was a child's voice... what is a child doing in the middle of the forest?... "uhh... who are you?" tang asks, the pair of eyes come out of the dark... revealing a young girl with light cyan hair wearing a cyan hoodie and short jeans

, tang blinks and fixes his glasses "you are just a child-" What in the great sage's name is a child doing in the middle of the woods? where are her parents??, the girl chuckles "i am hallie! nice to meet you!", the girl is overly friendly, maybe she is a child in disguise? like the lady bone demon thing mk told him about, "hello, 'hallie' where are your parents?" he questioned as he scanned the forest checking for any sign of someone but he was all alone with a suspicious child, "well, mother is on a work trip and we are staying with aunt amethyst!", tang blinks... aunt amethyst? We? "excuse me, hallie... what did you mean by 'we'?" the girl looks around "oh, looks like Aunt Amethyst found us!" tang blinks and turns around to see a huge green scorpion staring down at him...

meanwhile, pigsy and wukong were having a 'staring' contest and then heard tang yelling from the forest.. "master!" "tang!" they both ran towards the sounds but couldn't find anything but giant sharp feet and a pair of smaller feet and medium feet that belonged to Tang, "what happened?!" pigsy exclaimed angrily, wukong looked around them looking around for any clue but he found none, "say something!" pigsy yelled, wukong turned to him and frowned "we won't find him if you keep whining like a cry baby...", pigsy narrowed his eyes at the simian... he is clearly wasting time while they need to look for tang... he can't lose him too, he got snapped out of his thoughts as he heard wukong start shouting about someone called tudi... the morning came as wukong kept talking to the weird tiny god? that lives in a hole? All night long... "Thank you for your knowledge.." wukong said and did a small bow to respect the elder god, "What'd he say?" pigsy asked sleepily, poor piggy didn't get any sleep.

"The demon we seek is... in that castle!" he points at a castle in the background, pigsy wanted to snap at him for literally taking him so long for just a simple thing... and it is looking the other way! "Finding that out took all night?!", wukong shrugs "Of course not, This guy's just awesome, So many great stories!" he explained as he watched tudi leave... and then they started to walk towards the castle one goal in mind, to save tang... they walk around then they see a young boy with white hair sitting on the grass playing with flowers "wow... that boy looks like a guy in his 90s" wukong commented sarcastically and pigsy shots him a glare... "hey kiddo, what are you doing here?" pigsy questioned wondering why a child is here with no one to watch him, the child turned to look at him "oh... hello" the boy said calmly like he didnt have a care in the world...
