Chapter 16

Taehyung was sprawled out on the single sofa in front of the glass wall, holding a glass of whiskey in one hand and the phone in the other.

Feeling an unknown emptiness surrounding his entire being, he let out a heavy sigh. The bitter taste of the whiskey burned his throat all the way to his stomach, but Taehyung felt no relief from it.

"Three days.." Taehyung mumbled as he stared at the photos of them that Jungkook had posted on his Instagram.

"Knowing that no one really wants to stay with me..." Taehyung sighed again, caressing Jungkook's face with his thumb. "Why do I trust you so much?"

"How did you get into my heart so quickly?" Taehyung asked, but there was no one inside the lonely house to answer him.

Taehyung started reading the comments on Jungkook's post again.

"The two of them really match.. Jungkook is more suited to Taehyung than Mingyu."

"You guys are so cute!!!"

"TAEKOOK!!!!"

"You ruined Jungkook and Mingyu's date.. I hate you, kim taehyung!"

Although there were many positive comments, there were some hate comments as usual. But now, Taehyung learned from the comments on the articles about the drama that some people have forgotten about Min Hara's incident and started talking about his talents again. Not that Taehyung didn't feel a little happy after seeing the positive comments, but he didn't take those comments seriously anymore.

Taehyung finished his glass of whiskey while scrolling through Jungkook's IG feed, and his eyes slowly closed looking at the adorable baby face of Jungkook.

He fell asleep on that chair in the same awkward position and when he woke up again, the next day had dawned.

Closing his eyes tightly as the sunlight bothered his sore eyes, Taehyung got up from the chair and went straight to the bathroom.

His eyes were slightly red from staying up late the night before and drinking. The pain in his body disappeared after a good bath, but the redness in his eyes did not disappear completely.

Taehyung, who didn't worry about it because it was a day off, came out of the bathroom wearing only a white towel.

Taehyung went to the closet to choose an outfit, but at the same time the door bell rang, so he made his way towards the main door.
