Chapter 26

As Taehyung started pacing the corridor while waiting for the doctor to examine Jane, Yoongi decided to talk to him.

"Don't worry, Taehyung. She'll be fine."

"I hope so.." With Taehyung's answer, Yoongi looked at him with a mixture of surprise and disbelief.

"Are you still worried about Jane, Taehyung?"

Taehyung's head turned towards Yoongi in an instant.

"Are you crazy, hyung? I don't care about Jane! I'm worried about Jungkook.. my boy was there. If anything happens to Jane, he will face serious charges." Taehyung's answer brought a smile to Yoongi's face.

"So you weren't worried about me.." Both of their attention drew to the voice behind them and when the turned their heads they met with Jane. It wasn't hard for Taehyung to understand Jane's look, but before he could answer, the doctor arrived.

"Doctor?" Yoongi got up and approached the doctor wanting to know about Jane's condition.

"There's nothing to worry about, Mr. Min. Miss Jane is fine.. just a little scratch on her hand."

"Thank god!" Taehyung's eyes narrowed as Yoongi expressed his sincere happiness.

"I thought her leg was broken or something from the way she was acting." He expressed without even trying to hide his frustration.

"Maybe it's because of the shock.. in situations like this, anyone gets scared." Even though the doctor said with a smile, the darkness didn't disappear from Taehyung's face. He was angry enough to snap at Jane. But not wanting to make a scene there, he decided to walk out the hospital.

After paying the bill, Yoongi came with Jane and got into the car, they left to come to the set again.

"If you want, you can rest for today." When Yoongi said, Jane smiled and shook her head to say that it was not necessary.

Taehyung wasn't listening to their conversation and was thinking about Jungkook.

When they came to the set, he looked for Jungkook, but the latter was nowhere to be seen.

"Sir.." While looking for Jungkook, Taehyung stopped because a boy from the camera crew called him.

"Sir.. I think Miss Jane deliberately plotted this against Mr. Jungkook."

"What?"

"If you don't believe me, come with me. I have to show you something." The boy took Taehyung to the cameras that were still there.

"Watch this." The boy played a video and asked Taehyung to watch it.

Taehyung's hands trembled as he saw the entire incident with his own eyes.

"I just wanted to know what happened. So I checked the cameras and as expected, the entire scene was recorded on one of the cameras. I'm showing this to you even before showing it to the director." The boy explained while Taehyung watched the video.
