Vampire Mate Part 2

Six months had passed and we were still sleeping in the same room. We had a charity dinner tonight and Mina was helping me get ready. The doorbell rang and Reggie raced off to answer it. I got ready and headed down to the entry way where roses were waiting on me. I smiled and leaned down to smell them. A throat clears and I turn to look over my shoulder at my mate and he winks at me. 

"Thank you"  I tell him

He walks over to me offering me his hand and I take it. We make our way to the limo and we were off. 

"Is this is a supernatural thing?" I ask 

"Most will be. Some humans but they know about us" He tells me

I nod and we pull up to a beautiful building. I follow him out and tilt my head looking over the building. 

"The archerite does amazing work." He tells me

"I see. It is amazing" I tell him

He leads me inside and he starts shaking hands and greeting people. 

"I have a surprise for you" He tells me

I look up at him and he nods his head over away from us. I turn to see Aunt Lucynda and Uncle Hunter standing there. I grin and drop Sebastian's hand and hurry over to them. Aunt Lucynda hugs me tightly. 

"I'm so happy your here. Every few months isn't enough" I tell them

"Which is why we are moving here. We hate not seeing you. Your my only living family and I want to be near you" She tells me

I grin and I hear a hiss. I raise a brow at her and smile. 

"Bane" I call out

A snake slithers around some people and I bend down holding my arm down. He slithers up my arm and wraps around my neck. He rubs his head against mine and I smile. 

"My boy you have grown." I say

Sebastian wraps a arm around my waist and his eyes widen looking at Bane. 

"This is Bane. I found Bane when I was four years old. He was the runt and his mom left him. He was to cold so I brought him inside and Aunt Lucynda healed him. My witch can speak to animals. Bane became family." I tell him

"He is beautiful" Sebastian says 

"It's the lights that catch his rainbows." I say 

"You have been working on your magic" Aunt Lucynda says looking at me

"I never stopped practicing. I had to control it. I know what i'm doing"  I tell her

She nods and smiles. I hand Bane over to Uncle Hunter and smile. 

"Bathroom" I say 

Seb nods and I walk to the bathroom and when I come out a man grabs me. 

"Get your hands off me" I snarl

"Listen here you bitch. You will leave him." He snarls

I snap my fingers and he freezes in place and his eyes widen. I walk away and use my magic to drag him along with me. 

"My love" Sebastian says in shock

"Sebastian you know I don't use my magic. So please ask me why I am" I tell him

"My love why are you using your magic?" He asks smirking

"He decided to touch what wasn't his and threaten me" I say sweetly

Sebastian growls loudly and everyone steps back in fear. 

"You did what?" Sebastian snarls

The man's eyes widen and I smirk. I raise my hand and squeeze and the man chokes and I tilt my head watching his eyes widen even more in fear. I was playing with him and I chuckle darkly.
