The Ex

Being on the road a lot wasn't easy. But being on the road with your ex was hell. I gave her enough shit for her to quit but she stuck it out. I was on my way to sound check when a body plowed into mine. She stumbled but I caught her. 

"Woah Kelsea." I grumble

"Sorry B" she rushes out

she runs past me and I shake my head at her. After sound check I head back to the bus to find Kelsea's things packed and ready to go. 

"What's going on?" I ask 

She jumps and spins around in shock. 

"jesus don't sneak up on me like that" She says placing a hand over her heart panting

"What's going on?" I ask again

"I'm leaving" She says 

I study her and notice she is frantic. 

"Kelsea?" I call 

"Not now Brantley." She says 

"What the hell is going on?" I snap 

"Why do you fucking care? You made it clear you didn't want me here and now i'm leaving" She roars back

I knew when to push her and when not to and she was clearly upset. 

"Kels i'm sorry. I was only giving you shit" I say 

"No you weren't. You made it clear from day one I was a pain in the ass and you didn't want me." she says 

Pj steps in grabbing her bags and loads them into the SUV. She walks past me and out the door and I stand at the door watching her jump in the SUV and take off. 

"PJ what the hell is going on?" I ask 

"Amber." He says

"What about Amber?" I ask 

"Amber cornered her. She said some nasty stuff and Kelsea had enough." He tells me

"What do you mean had enough?" I ask

"I mean she is done Boss. She has had it with the chicks you date or sleep with and she has to see it. She is done with you" He says 

I look at him in shock and he pats my shoulder and leaves. 

6 months later KELSEA'S POV

I was just coming home from my date when i notice a big black truck in my driveway. I sigh and step out of my truck and walk up the steps and onto my front porch. 

"Where were you?" I hear

"Out with my boyfriend" i say opening my front door

"Boyfriend?" He asks in shock

"Yes boyfriend. You know Chase right?" I ask 

I see anger set across his face and I sigh. 

"Don't go there Brantley. It's my life. Your not in my life anymore." I tell him

I step into my house and he goes to follow me. I place a hand in the middle of his chest stopping him.

"Kelsea" He says in shock

"No Brantley. You need to go home" I tell him

"Tell me what Amber said?" He asks

"Nothing I didn't already know. Please leave it alone. I'm tired." I tell him

I hear a truck pull up and it's Chase. He gets out coming up to me and frowns seeing Brantley.

"Chase?" I say
