Description: The story follows Ledo, a young soldier from a highly advanced space-faring civilization called the Galactic Alliance, which is locked in a brutal war against alien beings known as the Hideauze. During a battle, Ledo is caught in a wormhole and crash-lands on Earth, a long-forgotten and flooded planet now covered almost entirely by oceans.
He awakens aboard the Gargantia, a massive fleet of ships where humans live a simpler, peaceful life, far removed from the warfare and technological advancements Ledo is accustomed to. Struggling to adjust to this new way of life, Ledo begins to question his purpose, the war he fought, and the values he was raised with as he forms bonds with the Gargantia crew, especially with a young woman named Amy.
