"Oh my god quick, hide me!" I hurried, trying to not create a commotion over on our side of the restaurant, which was pretty small to begin with.
"Well if he sees me we're both screwed!" He argues as quiet a possible. I started rummaging through my handbag, pulling out two pairs of sunglasses, one of which I hand to him. He covers the other half of his face with an open menu I told him it looked suspicious. So we both decided to look down and whisper to each other so that we'd could keep our cover, praying that the owners hadn't told Lewis about the other two F1 drivers that had stopped by for dinner that night.
I felt a tap on my shoulder, "Ms.Taylor, Mr.Verstappen, I believe he is your friend. Lewis Hamilton just walked in with his parents, small world eh?" The kind Italian owner politely informed us, trying to gauge whether we liked Lewis or not.
"Oh yeah, I just heard all of commotion but I think he might want to just enjoy his dinner in peace like we do." I tried explaining respectfully. But I was trying to give him the hint that Lewis, Max, and I do not need to become a framed picture on the wall.
But luckily the owner understood and left the two of us to wait for our appetizer, which when it finally came was delicious. And Max just had to be a little bother and stick his nose into my business asking all about Lewis, to which I didn't want to expand on that much. So the two of us mostly just ate some good food while planning the next day.
While the check finally came at the end of the meal, my heart dropped when I heard a familiar gasp. "Oh my goodness it's Alessia!" It was Carmen, Lewis's mom.
I made an annoyed face that only Max could see before I stood up and walked over to the pair. Lewis didn't look particularly irked by my sudden appearance which gave me a bit more piece of mind to talk to his mom, whom I hadn't seen in a long time.
"Darling I haven't seen you in forever, how's Red Bull? How's your family?" Carmen immediately asked the only thing that came into my mind was, oh my god I am so jet-lagged.
"Oh yeah, everything's really good right now. Daniel and I are pretty solid teammates and my brothers are doing good in their own careers and yeah..." I trailed off, hoping to end the conversation fast.
"Oh well I'll have to schedule a lunch with her soon, she still lives around here right?" I nodded and looked over to Max, who was getting the check back and signing it for me.
I said a quick goodbye before I turned around to see the owner, who I know knew as Mr. Olgeni, right up in my face.
"So can I get a picture?"

Daniel's POV
Ugh I need something to do.
Is what I thought about 4 hours of being back in Monaco for my projected two weeks at my home away from home. So I decided to do what any sensible person would do, scroll through instagram. During my designated brainrot time of the day I stumbled upon a stupid F1 gossip page, only to find Alessia, Max plus Lewis all pictured together in a tiny little restaurant. Jesus do F1 driver only have two places to hang out in?
