"Yes yes yes!" Poppy said, excitedly.
"Great." Branch said, grinning.
Poppy runs to Branch and hugs him, happy crying.
"Hey calm down!" Branch laughs.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" says Poppy, enthusiastically.
"Of course!" says Branch.
And the two walk together to Poppy's pod.
They both lay down on Poppy's bed.
Just then, someone knocks on the door.
Branch opens the door and gasps.
"BABY BRANCH!" yells a familiar voice.
"John... great to see the guy who ABANDONED ME!" Branch snaps.
"Bitty B, that was 20 years ago.." explained John Dory. "You can't still be mad.. are you?"
Poppy walks over to the door.
"Branch.. w-what's going on.. w-who is that?" Poppy stutters, fearfully.
Branch grabs her hand.
"It's no one.. just a troll who i DEFINITELY DO NOT KNOW!" Branch snaps again.
"Branch, come on.. it's your brother."
"BROTHER?!" Poppy exclaims.
"Oh right! One of the brothers who ABANDONED ME 20 YEARS AGO!!" Branch points out.
His voice starts to break.
" I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU JOHN! UNTIL YOU LEFT ME WHEN I WAS 4 YEARS OLD! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!"
"Branch.." Poppy began.
"NUH UH, IM NOT DONE! THIS LITTLE JERK SO CALLED MY BIG BROTHER LEFT ME TO ROT! THEN GRANDMA GOT EATEN AND I WAS ALL ALONE!" Branch says.
Then Branch starts to cry.
"Branch.." says Poppy. "Are you a-alright..?"
"I'm gonna go for a bit.. my number is #########, can you text me when I can come back?" Says John
"Yea I g-guess i c-can.." says Poppy, worried.
Then John Dory leaves.
Poppy closes the door.
Branch starts to sob.
"Awh Branch, honey.." Poppy says.
Poppy hugs him.
