I want to take dani somewhere. Somewhere that means something to me. The cliff. This isn't just a regular cliff. It's the one I almost died at.
"Dom where are we going?" Dani asked
"Somewhere." I said, "somewhere meaningful."
When we got there dani was amazed at the view. A beautiful lookout over the ocean.
"What's so special?" She asked
"See this spot?", I pointed to a dot of red on the ground. "That's my blood. I almost committed suicide here. That's my blood from cutting. I wanted to show you what it could do to you."
"Dom why would you jump? You have a great life." She said
"I didn't used to. I was left in an orphanage for about 5 years. Everyone gave me up. I started in Ohio and now I'm here." I said
"Dom that doesn't mean you should end it all." She told me.
"Yes I know. I brought you here to show you that everything will get better. And I have proof." I said
"What proof?" She asked
"I tried to jump here because I hated my life. Now look at me. I live with the Cimorelli's. life gets better Dani. Remember that." I took her hand and led her away from the cliff.
