Jisung stepped into the dorm with a sigh. After the first day of classes, Jisung is beat. He grabbed a bag of chips from the kitchen and headed to his room. 'Everyone must be at classes still.' Jisung sees how empty the dorm is, he hears its silence. He relaxes a little, happy to have some alone time. Not that he doesn't like hanging out with the group, everyone just needs a little time to themselves every once in a while. He opened the door to see that someone actually was in the dorm, Minho. He looked disheveled, his face a was flushed and his eyes were a slightly red. He was sitting at the side of his bed with his phone in his hand. He had been staring out into space before Jisung opened the door. Minho heard Jisung and, without looking at him, sniffed and laid on the bed and bagan scrolling on his phone.
"Everything okay?" Jisung asked in a quiet caring tone.
"Yep." Minho answered dismissively. After a moment Jisung decided to switch topics, try and get the conversation moving elsewhere due to Minho seeming unwilling to talk about how he was doing.
"How was dance?" Jisung sat down on his bed.
"Fine." Minho, again, being dismissive.
"Do you wanna-"
"Not really." Minho interrupted him before he even got the idea out. Jisung felt a ping of pain in his chest. 'What's with his attitude? Did I do something wrong?' Jisung, a little hurt, came to the conclusion that Minho wanted to be alone right now. 'He must not feel well.' Jisung rationalized it and walked out of the room with his laptop. Sitting in the living room, Jisung began to make a song. He was just messing around with some sounds and some melodies. Some lyrics came to him so he wrote them down before continuing to add some piano. He was lost in it. Before he knew it, people were coming home.
"Ugh!" Jeongin stumbled into the dorm. "Jeez." He plops down his bag and slumps into a seat in the living room. Jisung barely looks up from his work.
"You good?" He asks as he types away.
"Some of my classes are so hard." He whined. Jisung just scoffed. Jeongin got intrigued. "What're you doing?" Jeongin gets up and leans over Jisung and his laptop to see what his screen shows. "Ooh are you producing something?" He asked.
"Yeah, at first I was just messing around with some sound effects, but now I have an idea."
"What's the ideas?"
"I'll show you when I'm done." Jisung smiles. Jeongin sits next to him and watches him work, thinking of how impressive it is. Soon, Changbin walks in.
"Hey guys." He said with a sigh. The two boys in the living room turned to behind them.
"Hey." They said in unison. Changbin sank down into the couch on the other side of Jisung.
"Oh wow that looks complex." Changbin thought out loud. They both sat there and watched the third create, both throughly invested in what he was doing. Suddenly, all three of their stomachs loudly yearned for dinner.
"Okay," Jisung said as he shut his computer. "Time for dinner. Either of you know how to cook?" The other boys paused, seemingly deep in thought, then awkwardly shook their heads. Jisung sighed, knowing he couldn't cook more than instant ramen, he got up to ask Minho. He was a little nervous considering how Minho seemed to want nothing to do with him earlier, which hurt him a little bit. He thought they were getting close. He knocked on the door and cracked it open to pop his head inside. He saw Minho in the same spot he was before, lying on his bed, scrolling on his phone.
"Hey Minho?" Jisung got a hum in response. "Do know how to cook?" Minho looked up at this, eyebrow raised. "The rest of us can't do better than instant ramen and I'm not sure we have any." Minho looked down at his phone, back at Jisung and sighed.
"I'm coming." He raised from his bed. Jisung smiled.

Dinner was nice. Minho had made bibimbap and the boys loved it. It was quiet while they ate. But not an uncomfortable silence, everyone was just busy eating. Minho was the first to finish, once he was done he got up to put his dish away and went to his room, not once looking at Jisung. Only a minute later did he walk out and almost storm to the door.
"I'm headed out."
"What?" Changbin asked. "It's a bit late, no?"
"I'm just headed to the dance studio." Minho definitely seemed upset. But Jeongin and Changbin didn't really seem to notice, Jisung absolutely did.
"Are you ok?" Jisung asked with concern in his voice. Minho didn't answer and went out after putting on his coat. After the rest of the boys finished their food, they sat in the living room and watched a movie. Han chose it so they watched The Nun. He loved that movie, it never really scared him much. Jeongin and Changbin, on the other hand, were horrified. They jumped at every jump scare and tensed at every suspenseful part. Jisung thought it was kind of funny to be honest. Nearing the end of the movie, Jisung began to think back to Minho. 'Why did his attitude change so suddenly? Why did he leave so fast after eating to go to the dance studio this late? Why was he so dismissive towards me? I must have done something wrong to upset him. I just don't know what it was.' With one final jump scare, the movie ended, leaving the two scared boys hugging each other in fear.
"Jisung," Jeongin looked at Jisung with a serious tone. "You're a bad friend."
"What?" Jisung was surprised.
"How could you make us watch that? It was horrifying." Jeongin playfully whined. Jisung rolls his eyes and scoffed.
"I'm tired let's go to bed." Jisung got up from the couch and looked back when neither of the other boys moved. They were both looking around as if the nun would be hiding somewhere in the room, waiting to jump at with a 'boo!'. "You guys are such wussys." Jisung laughed and went off to his room and immediately changed and got under the covers.

Late that night, around 3:00 am, Jisung was woken by the sound of his door opening. He was barely away and didn't even bother to open his eyes. He heard a sigh and the sound of someone plopping onto the other bed. He knew Minho had come home. To his surprise, he heard a small sob and the sound of him getting under the covers before it went silent for the night. Soon, Jisung too went to sleep.
