Jisung woke to the smell of bacon. He opened his eyes to find a pair staring back at them. "Ah! What the fuck?" Jisung jumped in his seat on the couch.
"Sorry, sorry." Changbin apologized. "Trying to see if you were awake."
"Well I am now, fuck." Jisung tried to calm his breathing and heart beat. "Who is cooking?"
"Me!" Minho calls from the kitchen. "Perfect timing cus it's ready. Come grab a plate." Jisung groggily gets up from the couch and follows Changbin to the kitchen where Minho and Jeongin are waiting. 'You don't deserve to eat.' Jisung tried to quiet thoughts and enjoy the food that has been prepared for him. Minho turned around with a plate of two eggs and some strips of bacon. He handed the plate to Jisung.
"Thank you." Jisung looked at Minho, catching his gaze. Something in Jisung's eyes revealed he was thanking him for more than the plate of food. Minho shows a sincere smile in return. Jisung walks to the couch and sits in the spot he sat moments before. To his surprise, Minho sat close enough to him to touch elbows. Jisung smiled to himself, his stomach feeling a butterfly or two. After only a few minutes of silent eating, a knock sounded from the dorms door. Changbin got up and placed his plate on the coffee table to answer it.
"Chan hyung!" Changbin called out. "Hyunjin, Felix! Come in, we were just eating breakfast. You guys ate right?" He opens the door for them to enter.
"Hey guys! Don't worry I'm just here for moral support." Chan calls out as he takes off his shoes, Hyunjin and Felix follow suit. Changbin seems a bit confused by that second part of what Chan said but he just brushed it off. Everyone walks into the living room. Bang Chan first notes how close Minho and Jisung are to each other. He raises an eyebrow to Minho, who is looking everywhere but at him. Jisung looks to the new arrivals. Felix and Hyunjin had come into the living room holding hands. Changbin sits down in is spot and motions for Chan, Felix, and Hyunjin to sit as well. The boys holding hands sit as close as they could get to one another. Chan on the other hand sat a bit further away on the couch, angling himself to face more towards them. The two boys seemed extremely nervous without explanation. Minho, Jisung and Changbin all looked at them with a confused and expecting look, waiting for them to explain the sudden closeness of the two. Chan loudly cleared his throat and gestured to the other three boys.
"Um, so we have some news." Hyunjin starts.
"It kinda happened fast so sorry that we didn't update you along the way but-" Hyunjin cuts Felix off.
"Me and Felix are dating." He blurts out. Everyone is silent for a second, taking in the information. This makes the couple extensively nervous.
"Oh. My. God."
"Jeongin is gonna flip when he finds out!"
"Wow good for you guys." Minho is by far the most calm in the room.
"It's about time right?" Chan asks the room.
"I know right!" Changbin laughs. "You guys may not have seen it," he looks to Minho and Jisung, "but the tension between these two has been crazy!"
"It has not!" Felix tried to defend himself. Changbin only raises an eyebrow to the boy and he immediately backed down.
"How long have you liked each other?" Jisung smiles. Hyunjin and Felix look down and mumble an incoherent answer. "What?" Jisung hadn't heard them. They mumbled again. "Guys what are you saying?" Jisung really couldn't understand.
"A couple years!" They almost yelled out. Changbin yells a "I knew it!" And stands up, pointing at the two boys. He then walks over and opens his hand in front of Chan. Chan groans and pulls out his wallet.
"I really hoped you had forgotten about this." He wined and handed a giddy Changbin a twenty dollar bill. "It's been like two years." Chan slumps down in his chair.
"You're kidding." Felix looks at Chan and Changbin in disbelief. "You bet on us?"
"What did you bet?" Hyunjin asked, earning him a slap on the arm by his new boyfriend.
"A couple years ago me and Chan made a bet on ether you guys like each other or not. I bet that you already liked each other but were too wussy to ask each other out. Chan bet that you didn't like each other yet but that you would later. And obviously I was right. I'm awesome, I know." Changbin joked after explaining. The sound of feet shuffling made every one turn to the hallway. Jeongin was still in his pajamas and was barefoot while stumbling into the living room.
"Why are you guys so loud?" Jeongin's voice was deep and hoarse.
"Oh I'm sorry did we wake you?" Jisung worried. But Changbin had a smile on his face.
"You are not gonna believe this."
