Sunny watches as Mia and Sophie talk outside, ignoring the conversation Kayden and Amelia are having. Suddenly, her vision gets a bit blurry and she sees the shadowy figure again. She shakes her head and blinks a few times, clearing her vision. "Are you alright, sweetie?" Amelia asks. "Uh, yeah. I'm okay." Sunny murmured. "Can I go outside?" She asks, turning to Amelia. "Why?" Amelia asks. "Fresh air." Sunny answered. "There's air conditioning in here." Kayden remarked. "Well, a common negative effect of air conditioning is that it can cause respiratory issues, indoor pollutants and other stuff, so fresh air is better." Sunny quipped.
Amelia narrowed her eyes in suspicion from Sunny's quip. "Since when did you care about that stuff?" She questioned. "I'm just trying to take care of my health." Sunny responded in smarmy tone. Amelia let out a small sigh. "Fine. But stay in your sister's view at least, okay?" She negotiated. "No problem." Sunny said, rushing out the coffee shop with Amelia watching her with a wary gaze.
Sunny sped outside the coffee shop, her eyes scanning the area for the shadowy figure. "Where are you going?" Mia asked. "Amelia said I could get some fresh air." Sunny replied with an innocent smile. "Isn't there air conditioning inside?" Sophie inquired. "Yeah, but I like fresh air better." Sunny responded absently, glancing around. "What are you looking for?" Mia interrupted her thoughts. "Something you wouldn't understand." Sunny answered, rushing down the street. "Hey, wait!" Mia called, getting up.
Sunny ignored Mia's call and ducked into an alleyway. "Where are you?" She mumbled under her breath. She blinked and she was suddenly in the same deserted place again. "How I love this place." She said sarcastically. She did the usual wandering around till she saw the shadowy figure. It was standing there in distance, as usual. "What? So, you ditch me for, like, two days and then come back all of a sudden?" She complained. "I apologise, but I assure you that I had no intention of leaving you in a ditch." The figure replied. "What? No. It's a figure of speech." Sunny explained. The figure tilted it's head in confusion. "Never mind. What do you want?" Sunny asked, changing the topic.
"I am here to discuss something of importance." The figure answered. "Is it another speech on my major tragedy?" Sunny quipped. "No, but it is relevant to the case." The figure responded. "Before you tell me, just so I know, do you have a name or something?" Sunny asked. "I do not have a given name, but if you would like to refer to me with one, you may." The figure conceded. "Absolutely. Your name is Philip now." Sunny responded in a clipped manner. "Philip?" He repeated. "It's the first thing that came to mind. Anyway, what's this thing of importance you want to discuss?" Sunny inquired. "Your abilities." Philip answered. "My abilities?" Sunny repeated, tilting her head in confusion. Philip nodded in response. "Yes. Since you obtain hero eyes, you have some abilities to help you fix your fate." Philip explained. "Like?" Sunny questioned. "You have all six elements, you can see fragments of the future for clues and you're able to enter and exit this realm as you like." Philip listed.
Sunny took a moment to let what he just said set in her mind. All elements? She couldn't even use her birth given elements properly yet. "Well, that's a lot, but let's start with the hardest on that list. How do I learn to master all elements when I can barely master my own?" She asked. "Simple. This realm's time works differently to how it is in your reality. Time is slowed down." Philip explained. "Elaborate." Sunny responded. "Well, though you've been here for a few minutes now, it's only been a few seconds in your reality." Philip elaborated. "And how come you're only now telling me I can see the future when that would've been so useful two days ago?" Sunny fussed. "My apologies, I'll inform you earlier next time." Philip apologised.
"Sunny!" Mia called, turning into the alleyway Sunny was suddenly back in the alleyway. She turned around and saw Mia standing at the entrance of the alleyway with Sophie beside her. "Don't run off like that!" Mia scolded walking over to her. "Why'd you run off anyway?" Sophie asked, following Mia's steps. "Oh, I thought I saw someone I knew." Sunny murmured. "I'm sorry for worrying you." She apologised. Amelia ran into the alleyway. She had spotted Mia and Sophie running after Sunny outside the coffee shop. Kayden was right behind her, holding Muffin. "Are you girls okay?" Amelia asked checking Sunny for bruises or injury.
"We're okay, Amelia." Sunny answered and Amelia let out a relieved sigh. "Why did you run off like that when I told you to stay in your sister's sight?" Amelia asked in a worried tone. "She saw someone she knew." Mia replied for Sunny. "Who was it?" Kayden asked. "Someone from school." Sunny lied. Mia was first to suspect the lie. Sunny hated school with a passion and basically everyone in it but she didn't speak up.
"Well, next time, tell someone before you run off on your own, okay?" Amelia said. "Okay." Sunny agreed. For now, that was the end of the conversation. Amelia took Sunny and Kayden home, with the addition of Kayden's new kitten, while Mia and Sophie continued their date. The moment Sunny got home, she dashed to her room but bumped into Matthew. "Why are you everywhere?" Sunny complained. "How was your outing?" Matthew asked flatly, ignoring her complaint. "It was fine." Sunny responded curtly. Matthew narrowed his eyes slightly at her curt tone. "Sunny." Anetha called, strolling up to them before Matthew could comment. "How was the day out?" She asked. "It was nice." Sunny answered. Anetha walked over to Amelia and gave her a kiss, her arms wrapped around Amelia's neck. "Was she behaved?" Anetha asked. "Nothing out of the ordinary for her." Amelia replied, holding Anetha by the waist. Sunny let out an internal sigh of relief, hearing Amelia cover for her. "Well, that's good to hear." Anetha stated, letting go of Amelia. "I have a few more meetings and last minute things to do, but afterwards, I'd like to hear more about you day." Anetha told her daughter, kissing her cheek.
Anetha sauntered away with Amelia following behind. Sunny glanced up at Matthew, his eyes still fixed on her. "I feel sexually assaulted just by you glaring at me, you know." She remarked. He scoffed and walked away. She never liked him and he seemed to return that dislike. Sunny went to her room and collapsed onto her bed, letting out a sigh. She had just learned that she has all six elements plus the ability to see fragments of her future. "How do I do this?" She murmured in frustration. She sat up and looked out her window. She could see Water Clan in the distance and her mind drifted to Hazel. She wondered when she could see Hazel again. She shook her head, trying to get rid of the thought. After all, last time it ended terribly.
