"I heard from Thong that you're seeing that Juthathep girl." Khun Somchai spoke while sitting in the dark living room of the Kongsawat residence.

"Khun Por, you scared me. Why didn't you turn on the lights." Tee jumped slightly as he fumbled for the lights.

"How far have you two gone?" Khun Somchai continued probing.

"It's been almost 2 months." Tee had no choice but to answer.

"It's time to put our plan into action. Gain her trust, wring the company dry and destroy them." Khun Somchai ordered.

"And then what? Great great-grandpa, great-grandpa and grandpa will magically come back to life and our family will live happily ever after?" Tee challenged his father.

"I just want them to have a taste of being betrayed by the person they trusted the most. Just like how the Juthatheps betrayed us Kongsawats." Khun Somchai clenched his fists. Tee remained silent.

"Tee, you're the eldest heir to the Kongsawat family. What your ancestors and I could not do, it's your responsibility to end it." Khun Somchai pressed his hand onto Tee's shoulder.

"What about my feelings and what I want? Do I not matter to you? Or am I a mere pawn in this grand scheme of revenge, that's it?" Tee questioned his father.

"Your feelings and your desires don't matter in this family, Tee. For as long as you are a Kongsawat, you do what I say." Khun Somchai didn't care about anything else.

"And if I don't?" Tee rebutted.

"Then I will do it my way. I promise you it will be a hundred times more painful then if you were to follow my instructions." Khun Somchai threatened.

"I know your true feelings for this Juthathep girl, son. You understand what I mean, don't you?" Khun Somchai smirked as he whispered into Tee's ears. Tee could feel his heart drop and his mouth go dry as a chill went down his spine.

"Yes, Khun Por..." Tee could only nod.

"Good." Khun Somchai walked off without looking back.

"Khun, is something bothering you?" Nicha called out gently to her boyfriend.

"Hmm? Sorry, I was just thinking about something. What did you say?" Tee snapped out of his trance and apologised.

"Has work been tough recently?" Nicha was concerned.

"A little. Sorry for making you worried." Tee frowned.

"Actually, I'd prefer to watch Netflix and chill over catching a movie in the theatre. What do you think?" Nicha suggested indirectly, knowing that Tee could use some comfort and peace.

"Really? I'm okay though, we can totally catch that movie." Tee felt bad.

"We can catch it on Netflix when it's out. Unless you're hiding a woman in your house and don't want me to find out?" Nicha joked.

"No, no! Of course not. You already know the passcode to my house, how can I hide anything from you." Tee was flustered.

"I was just teasing you, Khun. I know you wouldn't." Nicha chuckled.

"Coffee for you, Khun?" Tee was in the kitchen of his condo while Nicha was on the couch surfing the options on Netflix.

"Yes please." Nicha called out from the living room.

"So what's the new show that Khun Lita was talking about?" Tee handed Nicha her coffee and settled on the couch next to her.

"It's some love-themed lakorn where the second generation of a prestigious family fulfills the promise made by their ancestors or something..." Nicha barely recalled what Lita was blabbering about last night.
