"I said...You're beautiful." Tee looked into Nicha's eyes and confessed.
"Khun..." Nicha felt herself freeze.
"I...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare or pressurise you..." Tee realised what he had done.
"I was just...surprised." Nicha spoke up after some thought.
"Will it be okay for me to continue liking you then? If it makes you uncomfortable, I'll just be a business partner, nothing more. I promise." Tee asked for Nicha's 'permission'.
Instead of answering, Nicha gave Tee a smile and a tiny nod, one that was almost unnoticeable to the third person.
"Goodness, look at the time. Let me send you home." Tee offered Nicha a hand as they got up from the grass patch.
"Thank you." Nicha told Tee's hand as she stood. Tee had offered his hand to Nicha on multiple occasions but the confession put their skinship in a new light.
"Do you think I could pick you up after work tomorrow?" Tee asked as he pulled up to the Juthathep Palace. Nicha had been staying in the Palace grounds to give her easier access to Khun Chai Yai and Petch after work.
Before Nicha could reply, there was a knock on the car window, making Tee roll down the windows.
"P'Nicha?" Mari peeked into the unknown car, wondering who it was.
"Mari, what are you doing outside the gates? It's dangerous." Nicha was worried about the safety of her young cousin.
"I was just picking up our supper..." Mari held up the bag of food.
"Oh, uh...Mari, this is Khun Theewarut Kongsawat. I'm working with Khun Tee on the new project." Nicha introduced Tee to an obviously curious Mari.
"Hello Khun Tee, I'm Marisa Juthathep but you can call me Mari! I'm P'Nicha's younger sister." Mari introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you too, Khun Mari." Tee smiled at the young girl.
"Thank you for the ride, Khun Tee. I'll get going." Nicha unbuckled her seatbelt.
"Khun...about tomorrow?" Tee realised Nicha hadn't given her an answer.
"I finish at 6pm." Nicha implicitly gave Tee an answer.
"I'll be on time. See you tomorrow." Tee grinned as Nicha closed the car door, only driving away after seeing Nicha and Mari enter the grounds of the Juthathep Palace.
"Mari, what took you so long? I'm starving." Lita lit up upon seeing Mari and their supper.
"P'Nicha!" The other girls spotted their eldest cousin.
"Guess who I met outside!" Mari was excited.
"P'Nicha?" Sara deadpanned.
"No! The handsome guy that was with P'Nicha at Khun Chai Yai's party! He sent P'Nicha home!" Mari divulged.
"What?" The girls were shocked.
"Hold on...What's with the reaction?" Nicha raised her eyebrows.
"P'Nicha. In my 22 years of life, I have never seen you let a guy drive you home." Chan blinked.
"Wait, just so we are all on the same page, are we talking about Theewarut Kongsawat from KS Group?" Sara questioned.
"Yes, P'Sara. Can you please keep up?" Lita rolled her eyes at her oblivious cousin.
"So, do you like him?" Chan probed, prompting the girls to react.
"He confessed earlier tonight." Nicha shared. The girls rarely kept secrets from each other.
