The last words she spoke were a simple whisper.

She didn't know how she had been so calm during the entire duration of the twins' show.

Sometimes she tried to glance next to her to see even for a second that beautiful face that she didn't know, but that she knew she had loved for years.

The show was one of the best ever done that night. The two twins bowed and Y/n couldn't help but applaud.

Turning around, she saw that he was also applauding along with all the other people for that matter.
She smiled at that small action.
But she hoped with all her heart that he had remembered at least a second of the time spent with her.

<<It was beautiful, wasn't it?>> Y/n said turning to the Iudex of Fontaine on her right.

<<They managed to amaze their guests like every other night. I am surprised how they can invent new magic tricks for every event.>> The Iudex replied.

<<I don't know... it was my first time.>>

<<Aren't you from this place?>> Neuvilette asked.

That question shattered any kind of hope the girl had at that moment.
A few words were enough to make her understand that all memory was lost.

<<Monsieur Neuvilette,>> Said a voice approaching the two.

<<We thank you for coming. We thought you wouldn't have a free moment to come and see this show. I imagine you have a lot to think about these days.>> Said the magician Lyney followed by his sister Lynette.

<<I should be the one to thank you. This show has helped me a lot. I needed a little break from work.>> Neuvilette replied.

<<It was a pleasure.>> Lynette said.

In all this, the Iudex had risen from his chair and started walking towards the exit.
Y/n watched him as he walked towards the door where other guests were also walking with slow steps.
She wondered if it would be wise to follow him or not.

But she couldn't even take another step before Lyney appeared in front of her.

<<For you.>> The magician said, handing the girl a Rainbow rose.

Y/n looked at the rose, and then immediately looked at the man who was walking away through the crowd.

Y/n sighed and took the flower in her hands.

That evening was a real disaster. Not only had she not been able to speak openly to him, but he didn't even remember her.

<<So...what did you think about the show?>> Lyney asked.

<<It was amazing. Do you always put on such amazing shows?>> Y/n replied.

<<This is nothing.>> Lyney said blinking at her.

<<Would you like to see us again? We would love to.>> The magician said, handing the girl a ticket.

<<Of course.>> Y/n said and then said goodbye.

As she left the Opera Epiclese, Y/n felt the wind touch her skin.

In front of her she found the traveler and Paimon waiting for her to return to the Hotel d'été, where they would be staying for a short period of time.

<<Y/n, we're here! How did it go?>> Paimon said, approaching cautiously.

<<Nothing to do.>> Y/n said bitterly.

<<Don't worry, you'll see that next time will go better.>> The traveler said.
