Years passed after the bloody reclaiming of Ithaca. Telemachus became a young man, bearing the weight of his father's legacy, while I remained an outsider in the court, the daughter of a traitor. When Telemachus proposed marriage, it shocked Ithaca. How could the son of the great Odysseus marry the daughter of his sworn enemy? There were whispers of betrayal and dishonor. But we were not our fathers. We could forge our own path, break the cycle of vengeance. Our union was not built on politics or power. It was built on hope.
We were wed in the temple of Athena, who had guided his father through many trials. I prayed she would do the same for us. Though our love was sincere, the shadow of the past loomed heavy, and it seemed that the gods were not yet finished with our fates.
