The journey to the Oracle was long and fraught with danger, but I was determined. When I finally stood before her, the sight of her clouded eyes chilled me. She spoke in riddles, but one thing was clear: "A bloodline touched by gods cannot escape the wrath of mortals."
I left the temple with a growing fear. Our family's connection to the gods, once seen as a blessing, was now a curse that could destroy us all.
