Astoria stared out into the courtyard as she scribbled a few random notes. She was trying to make a list of things to do over the next couple of months- her professor had advised that she should start organizing her time in order to better utilize it to her advantage. This was, after all, her last year at Hogwarts.

She repeated a spell she had heard in class yesterday as she wrote it in her notebook- that particular spell had given her quite a bit of trouble and she tried to remember she should pratice it later on.

"Hey..." She heard a familiar voice call her name. She smiled as she placed her quill inside her notebook and carefully packed that into her book bag.

"Hello." She said, turning to see Willy. Willy smiled brightly and waited for her friend in the corridor.

Astoria ran over to Willy, rubbing her hands together as she did.

"It's cold." Astoria said as they both started walking.

"Very. " Willy said as they walked by a couple of students putting up some posters.

"What's this?" Willy asked stopping to view the poster. Astoria stared for a second, reading the print.

"It's for an Art show." one of the students with the posters said, standing back to check if it was straight.

"Alexandra MacFaye." Willy said with a puzzled look, "who is that?"

"A sculptor." Astoria began, "Really good actually. She's coming to Hogwarts for the second term."

"Wow, and they are doing a show?" Willy said.

"Yeah" Astoria said, beginning to walk away.

"Well that sounds cool. You're kinda into that art stuff, right?" Willy said as they entered Slytherin dungeon. Astoria shrugged.

"I dabble but i'm not really that into it." Astoria said, dropping her bag over a chair in their dorm.

"You knew her name." Willy said, looking in the mirror and freshening up. Astoria looked at some of the books stacked in her corner, there wasn't much to give away her art interest except a for a large book on mural art at the bottom.

"It was on the poster." Astoria said, tossing herself over the bed.

"Oh yeah." Willy said, suddenly shrugging it off. "Dinner?"

"Yeah. I'm starving." Astoria said with a chuckle, running out the door.

Astoria sat hungry at the table, wondering why there was a delay in serving dinner. Usually this only happened whenever there was announcements to be made or if there was some special events.

Her eyes went over the long table the professors traditionally sat at, noting that they were not yet in their seats. Slowly she skimmed the room to the table on the opposite side of the room. There he sat laughing at something a class mate had just said. She stared at him absent minded, realizing they hadn't had much of change to talk today. She was making a mental note to drop by and see him after dinner when a wink from his beautiful eye made her laugh. Greg was such a flirt.

She turned to speak to Willy, when the Professors finally entered the room, led by Headmaster McGonagall. The room grew silent as it was apparent she was about to speak.

"Good evening, Students, Faculty... Family. It is, as always, such a pleasure to see you all. One this beautiful evening, we have a few announcements to make. As we near the end of the term, we begin to look at all the wonderful things coming with the new year. Some of you may have noticed the posters up around the school. It is a great honor to announce we will be hosting Alexandra MacFaye in March. For those of you who are not familiar with her work, Mrs. MacFaye is a renowned sculptress and will be displaying her work here at Hogwarts. Mrs. MacFaye has also invited our young artists of Hogwarts to participate in her art show- she will be accepting submissions for five pieces to be displayed with hers at that time. Those interested should come by my office any time this week to receive applications and guidelines. Please keep in mind that because of the time limits and because there is much work to be done, we will not accept submission past Sunday Evening."
