The rest of the morning was a blur of lessons and occasional whispers between students, but Y/N couldn’t shake the odd sensation of being watched. She glanced around discreetly, half-expecting to catch someone staring, but every time she did, no one seemed to be paying her any extra attention. Still, the feeling lingered like a ghost at the back of her mind. She told herself it was just her nerves playing tricks on her.

As the bell rang, signaling a short break, Y/N gathered her things, ready to stretch her legs, when a bright voice interrupted her thoughts.

"Hi! You’re the new girl, right? Y/N?" A girl with a radiant smile and sparkling eyes bounded up to her desk.

Y/N looked up, surprised by the sudden burst of energy in front of her. "Uh, yeah. That’s me."

“I’m Yuna! I saw you in the hallway earlier. You looked a little lost.” Yuna chuckled, the sound light and carefree. “It’s tough being the new kid, huh?”

Y/N smiled, her unease slowly melting under Yuna’s friendliness. “Yeah, it’s been a bit of a rough start.”

“Well, you’re in luck!” Yuna beamed, sitting on the edge of Y/N’s desk as if they’d been friends forever. “I’m your new guide to surviving this place. We can have lunch together later, and I’ll introduce you to some of my friends. You’ll fit right in!”

Y/N couldn’t help but feel relieved by the offer. “That sounds great. Thanks, Yuna.”

Meanwhile, across the school, both Jisung and Hyunjin had retreated to their respective groups to discuss a revelation that had turned their worlds upside down.

In one corner of the schoolyard, Jisung sat under a tree with Felix, Jeongin, and Seungmin. The werewolf pack, though close-knit, had an air of curiosity around them as Jisung paced back and forth, unable to calm the racing thoughts in his head.

“She’s my mate,” Jisung announced, stopping in front of them. His eyes were wide with disbelief but also filled with an undeniable warmth. “I met her today. Y/N. She’s the one.”

Felix grinned, his golden eyes lighting up. “About time you found your mate, Alpha-to-be.”

Jeongin, the youngest of the group, nudged Seungmin with excitement. “Does this mean we get a Luna soon?”

Jisung chuckled nervously. “Maybe. I mean, she’s human… She has no idea about any of this. And I don’t know how to tell her.”

Seungmin, the more cautious and thoughtful one, crossed his arms, his expression serious. “It’ll take time. You can’t just throw everything on her all at once. She’ll need to trust you first. Build the bond slowly.”

“Yeah, I know. But it’s hard to hold back,” Jisung admitted, running a hand through his hair. “She’s… everything I didn’t even know I wanted.”

As his friends congratulated him, a sense of excitement buzzed through the group. Jisung, the soon-to-be alpha of their pack, had found his mate. It was a day of celebration.

On the other side of the school, Hyunjin sat with Changbin, Bangchan, and Leeknow in the shadows of the courtyard. Unlike Jisung, Hyunjin wasn’t pacing. He was still, thoughtful, his long fingers tracing patterns in the air as he recounted his moment of realization.
