Thousands of Birds

~Part 2~

          From that day on, Becky always comes to her art gallery and it had been about 2 months. They didn't see each other every time but they knew that there was a strong connection between them.

"Look what I got!"

          Becky sat in front of Freen and showed a fancy necklace shaped like a tulip.

"I hope you like it"

          She said nervously and Freen was shocked by the gift.

"I... I never imagined about this. Thank you so much, Nong!"

          Started from the last fews weeks, Freen called Becky 'Nong' and Becky called her 'Phi'.

"Come, I will wear it for you"

          Freen stared at Becky, Becky's face showed some worriedness. Freen comforted her and,

"Are you alright, Beck?"

"Yea..."

           But Freen knew she wasn't happy at all.

"What happened?? You can tell me anything"

           Becky finally breathed in and,

"I am stressed about my company"

"I'm sorry to hear that. But... just forget about it for today. So... wanna grab some ice-cream?"

           Becky's face lit up as she heard that. She nodded and Freen suddenly stroked her head.

"Narak"

           Becky face turned red.

"Gosh, don't tease me, Phi"

          The next day, Becky was in the office when her assistant, Chris entered the room. She looked terrified and,

"Boss! Boss! Look at this"

          Becky immediately grabbed the iPad from Chris's hand and looked at the screen. It was an interview of her biggest enemy 'Rin' the owner of 'Wave'. In the interview, Rin spoke about Cielor,

"Cielor??? What's that? I will just buy another brand instead"

           Becky's heart sank as she listened to Rin's comments.

"Oh my god, what did we do wrong? This is a direct attack on us"

         Becky said to herself. Then, she threw the iPad on the table. Chris was scared and Becky knew it. She smiled warmly at her and,

"We can do better, can't we? We can handle this"

"Yes, of course, Boss"

          Becky took a deep breath and,

"Let's get the marketing team together. We need to show our customers why Cielor is the best choice"

"Bec??"

           Freen saw Becky walk into her art gallery, her eyes widening in surprise.

"It's getting dark, why are you here? You should go home. My gallery is going to close"

"It's okay, Phi. I just need a comfort zone"

           Suddenly, Freen felt a strong hug from Becky. She was shocked at first but she didn't resist it. She patted Becky's back and,

"Sit here"

           Becky looked depressed and,

"Haven't I given enough?"

"Why??"

"I did my best but I got a lot of blame..."

"Come on, I know you are stronger than this"

            Freen didn't want to ask the reason as that might upset Becky again.

"Do you want to go my place? I usually don't bring anyone but I think I need someone beside me tonight"

            Becky asked Freen softly. Freen smiled gently and nodded,

"Yes... I will drive for you"
