Welcome to this fanfic. I'm just here to have fun, Y/N's not gonna be just like Subaru obviously. But there will be struggle and death, because without it, that's not fun.

Y/N POV

Re:Zero.

It's not often that an anime can profoundly shift your perspective on life. Yet, Re:Zero did just that for me. It's rare to encounter a protagonist as weak and pitiful as Subaru Natsuki—an ordinary guy who never gains extraordinary powers, never becomes the "strongest" in any conventional sense.

Instead, he just suffers. Over and over. But somehow, amidst all the pain and agony, it's... Almost perfect.

I've never been drawn to anime where the main character is weak, especially in isekai, Yet, Re:Zero shattered that notion for me. I watched the entire first season in just two days.

Season two? That was done in a single day. And when I picked up the light novels? They were even better—deeper, richer, more intense.

The raw emotion. The worldbuilding. Subaru Natsuki.... Suffered so much, for such a simple outcome. I never cried at his story, but I never felt indifferent either. It was like watching a reality that could have been myself.

In a way, I even felt a bit of survivors guilt.

Now, I'm rewatching this masterpiece, and it's just as powerful as I remembered. The anguish, the promises, the heart-wrenching moments—it's all still there. Staying up late, I found myself glued to the screen once again.

My eyes flickered to the clock: "4 AM," I whispered into the darkness, unsure if I was speaking to myself or to the room around me. I'm not a socially enept person, but once I get hooked to something, it was rather safe to assume I'd be on it for the next few months. Learning everything possible. In a non-hyperfixation way.

I should probably sleep. I was only a few episodes away from finishing season one. Episode 15, in particular, remains a masterpiece. I didn't blink once during its runtime, afraid I might miss even the slightest detail.

After that, the episodes blurred together, and before I knew it, I was on episode 22—just three more until I could finally rest. But as the credits rolled, my eyes grew heavy, and I rubbed at them to stay awake.

My vision blurred, and everything around me turned hazy. As I stood up, I felt a strange sense of disorientation. "Damn... Maybe..." I stepped toward my room door, I should... Get something... To dr-

...

A sound rang out, as if a loud thud echoed across my room... And I found my vision slowly fading to black as the cold floor became apparent to my skin.

Had I just fallen?

My eyes snapped open and my body jerked upright as the fresh roll of cold sweat drizzled its way down my forehead. I was stunned. Absolutely and positively so. It was so bright, I had to brush my fingers against my eyes again.

What happened?

Blinking against the brightness that assaulted my senses, it was so loud. Where was I? The sounds around me—the hustle of people, the murmur of voices—were overwhelming

I could barely process the things happening around me, and I barely managed to turn my head to try and process it. As I did, my sight was met with the bodies of several men and women, human alike... Yet some brandished fur, paws... Attributes of animals.

My eyes shot toward my right, witnessing big wooden carriages being pushed by some beast similar to that of a velociraptor. My breath grew shaky and I held my head, what? What! Whatwhatwhatwhat-

...

Hold on...

I barely found the strength to rise up with my shaky knees, stumbling across the rocky roads and feeling the sun press down harder than usual, sweat began rolling down my forehead again.

As I staggered toward the road, I caught sight of a small child in the path of a monstrous green beast pulling a carriage. The child was about to be crushed.

Just like..

No.

I clutched my stomach, nausea rising. My knees buckled, and I could feel my teeth chattering.

I feel sick...

This couldn't be real. But as I looked around, panic surged through me. The world I was in wasn't my own. I knew it. I could feel it.

No... No... No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
