"What is the purpose of your visit Mr. D'Antonio?" The Immigration officer asked a man wearing a black hoodie. "Peace." He said simply with a smile and with a heavy Italian accent. He smirked and handed him his passport "Enjoy your visit sir, welcome to Gotham." "Grazie." Alastor said as he took his passport and left with his bags.

He walked out of the airport and met a man holding a sign with his name. "Welcome Mister D'Antonio, I am Nathan, Nathan West." He said taking one of his bags. "Nathan, I have heard of you. Your mentor speaks highly of you." He said offering his free hand to shake. "As have I, Master Alastor." He said friendlily before leading him to his car. "Seems they have sent only the best here." Alastor said before placing his bag in the trunk and shutting it.

"If the rumours are true, we will need the best." He said as they both entered the car. Alastor in the passenger seat and Nathan in the driver's seat. Alastor chuckles "You Americans and your right hand driving." He said as he patted the dashboard. Nathan joined in in the laughter.

They arrive at their destination an old rundown two story building, seemingly a bar. They step out of the car, while Nathan goes to grab the bags from the trunk Alastor admired the building. "There is a skylight upstairs." Nathan says stepping next to him. "Easy access from the top like the bureaus of old. There are three Assassin Bureaus across the city one in each island. The bars will be a cover and will cover our incomes." He continued. "It requires some renovation but we have the funds."He said as he stepped in. "Who else is here?" Alastor asked.

"I am glad you asked." Nathan said. "There are ten others in the city. 2 of them are here upstairs the rest are in the other 2 bureaus. With any luck we can get this place up and running this week."

"We have Abdul Rashid from Israel and Renard Benoit from France." Nathan said as they walked upstairs when two Assassin's wearing grey and black robes wearing masks concealing the lower halves of their faces jumped in through the open skylight and pointed their blades at Alastor.

"Calm down boys! This is Alastor D'Antonio! From Italy!" Nathan said quickly defusing the situation. They sheathed their swords and shook his hand. "My apologies monsieur." The man with grey robes said in a thick french accent. "It is an honour to meet you." The man wearing black robes said. "Likewise, and don't worry signore I too have been responsible for many frights over the years." He said jokingly.

They took off their hoods and removed their masks. Revealing their faces. "It is good to see you brothers." Alastor said.

The men now in their civilian clothings sat together at a table. "Our first order of business." Nathan said. "Is the Gala at Wayne Manor this weekend. The city's most rich and powerful will be there, some to do good, others to cover up their sins. This might help us identify the Templars."

"I suggest we start with Carmine Falcone. Head of the Falcone crime family. I am sure he has some dealings with the Templars. There is also Oswald Cobblepot and Salvatore Maroni." Abdul said.

"The gala is for the rich so of course there will be journalists and reporters. We can infiltrate the ferry to the island as photographers. We then infiltrate the manor and interrogate each of them." Nathan spoke.

"What about the host? Bruce Wayne." Alastor asks.

"He is just a rich snob. Nothing special about him." Renard said as he lit a cigarette.

"Very well." Alastor said. "We will wait until the weekend for the Gala. Remember nothing is true." He said.

"Everything is permitted." They said in unison.

They dispersed from the table and Alastor approached Abdul. "I was hoping you would be able to show me around." He said. "Gladly Alastor." He replied. "Bene, we will set out at dusk." Alastor said.

Meanwhile Nathan sat on his laptop. Alastor tapped his shoulder to get his attention before sitting beside him. "What are you up to Amico?" He asked. " Informing the rest. We don't have tech support here so I am the closest thing we have." Nathan said. "Bene." Alastor said.

Nathan then shouted. "Renard! The renovators will be here soon! You deal with them!"

Renard replied "Of courze ask the French boy! Unlike my country Monsieur Nathan I don't wave ze white flag and bend over while the rest of the world fucks me!"

"Is that a yes or a no!?" Nathan asks. "Oui, I will do it!" He replied begrudgingly walking down the stairs."Morceau de merde." He muttered.

"Out of curiosity who is your favourite assassin, Alastor?" Nathan asks making small talk.

"Mine is Connor of course but there is some bias there." Nathan says.

"You mean Ratonhnhaké:ton?" Alastor asks. "Do you really want me to try and fail miserably pronouncing that?" Nathan asks?

"Good point. My favourite will have to be Altaïr. He brought about a great change in our order. Without him our planet would be a burning wasteland." Alastor says.

"Mine is Ezio." Abdul said joining in. " A wise choice." Alastor said.

As the sun set Abdul and Alastor climbed out of the skylight dressed in black and blue robes respectively they ran across the rooftops amidst the setting sun their capes flowing behind them.

They scaled buildings to Wayne Tower at the center of the city and climbing onto the top using their hook blades to go faster until they reached the very top.

Overlooking the entire city alastor stepped out onto the edge as he synchronised with his eagle eye. The moon shining behind his back as he saw the city. Then they saw a light shaped like a bat light up the sky.

"We should head back. We don't need the Dark Knight on our tails." Abdul said.

" I could take him." Alastor said. " We can't risk open conflict Alastor. The Templars don't know we are here we must use this to our advantage." Abdul said.

"Very well." Alastor said before performing a leap of faith with Abdul close behind. They perform a swan dive before pulling out their parachutes and gliding above the city.

It's a new dawn for Gotham City.
