Part 1

Saffron was slightly miffed that her shifts at Chipotle had to be changed due to her new class schedule, though she was extremely thankful that they were able to accommodate it, as she greatly needed the money.

She'd worked there for a few months already so had gotten the hang of it, as it wasn't too difficult, since she wasn't actually making the food, only ringing stuff up at the counter.

"Are you alright doing coupons" a voice spoke next to her.

It was one of her co workers, Kai. Out of everyone who worked there, he was probably Saffron's favourite, which wasn't saying much as she'd not worked with many others, but he was still nice and unlike some people he wasn't a dick to customers.

"Yeah" she says. "Why"

"That guy always has a coupon for a free entree" he explains, signalling to one of the two guys who had just walked through the door.

Kai immediately greets them both with a wave, and walks back over to the food station. "Hey dudes"

As they both make their way over, Saffron gets a better look at them. They both looked to be in their twenties, similar to herself, and most people who came in.

"Hello" the blonde one said, as him and his friend approached the counter. 

As Saffron took in his features she felt as if she'd seen him somewhere, though she assumes he'd just come in during one of her shifts before.

The other one was slightly shorter than his friend and was brunette with glasses. You could tell that they had just been to the gym opposite as both of his was slightly messy, which Saffron thought made him look cute.

Most of the guys who came from the gym were intimidating, though these two were the complete opposite.

"Run out of those entree coupons yet" Kai asks.

"Not yet" he chuckles, lifting one up so it can be visible to the two workers behind the counter.

Kai gets to work on their food, seemingly knowing both of their orders off by heart. Saffron watches him while putting everything to the cash register.

Around halfway through, Kai stops and walks over to her, lightly hitting her arm with the back of his hand, he whispers "I never charge them for extra chicken"

"Oh..." Saffron says, tapping the x button on the cash register amd deducting 3 dollars and 80 cents from the total.

"I like them too much to care" Kai snickers, walking back to the food. Kai looks at one of the guys. "I've been meaning to search up who technoblade is"

Saffron feels her head snap up. Glancing at the brunette customer, she saw that he was wearing a technoblade shirt.

"You don't know technoblade" Saffron interjects, furrowing her brows. "Have you been living under a rock"

Kai rolls his eyes and shakes his head. "Bro comes in wearing a technoblade shirt like two days a week"

"Well he's got taste" Saffron quips back.

"Thanks" the guy says, light chuckle on his voice.

Kai walks over to the cash register, holding the metallic boxes and passes them to the to the guys. "Will we be seeing you tomorrow"

They glances at one another. "Maybe" the blonde says.

They walk over to a booth in the corner of the room. Saffron can't shake the feeling of familiarity that she got when she saw them.

"You better get used to them, Saff" Kai says.

Those two guys lived in her head rent free for hours, there was a distinct annoyance that she felt not knowing where she recognised them from so she decides to ask her best friend about it.

"Do you remember when we used to work in Chipotle together" Saffron asked, crossing the dorm to sit beside Keira on her bed.

"No those two months of my life have just disappeared from memory" Kiera deadpans.

Saffron and Keira used to work at Chipotle together, though Keira quit when a better job rolled around, as she was a vegetarian, so working in a Chipotle wasn't the greatest.

"Right okay" Saffron dramatically sighs "These two guys came in today and I was like... I swear I've seen them before, but I didn’t know where. So I was wondering if they'd come in while you worked there"

Kiera thinks for a few moments, resting her head back on the wall. "I mean you know I have a shitty memory but maybe I remember them"

"Well, they looked around our age. Both pretty tall, one was brunette the other blonde, the blonde probably had an entree coupon... Oh the brunette might have been wearing a technoblade shirt" Saffron babbles on, stifling a laugh at the last sentence.

"I don't remember anyone like that, I'm pretty sure I only scanned through a coupon twice so I'd probably remember" Keira shakes her head. "Were they hot"

Saffron pauses. "Eh... Kinda"

"Yeah then there's no way I remember them"
