Nani & Ariel met a few years back at a college party and they've been best friends ever since.

They pretty much consider themselves like sisters.

Ariel had some issues with her previous roommate so she moved into Nani's apartment near campus.
Nani was having trouble paying rent so it was perfect timing when she met Ariel and she moved in.

Nani has been single for awhile and she's starting to think she'll never find the one, while her friend Ariel has just left a long relationship with a guy named Juan who cheated on her with her roommate. (hints why she moved out) Ariel is now looking for a fun, loyal guy who can hold her down.

Now Jermaine just graduated from college and he's trying to stay on his feet so he gets a job at iHop.

He lives in an apartment with his friend Armon and it's pretty close to where he(Jermaine) works.

Armon previously tried to hook Jermaine up with this girl but things didn't go too well so Jermaine has been waiting to find the right one.

Armon has some love issues of his own....its pretty complicated but he likes to think he's single.
