*Nani's phone rings*
It's Jermaine trying to FaceTime her.

Nani is in the bathroom and her phone is sitting on her bed.

Ariel is passed out on the couch so she doesn't hear the phone ring either.

•• Meanwhile at Jermaine's House ••

"She ain't answer bro," Jermaine says sadly.

"Ariel isn't picking up either," says Armon as he plugs his phone up to the charger.

"Dang, ain't no way they could be sleep already.  You think they  tryna be petty?"

"Nah man. The vibes were flowin tonight. They prolly just fell asl---"

"Aye never mind she just hit me up😁" Jermaine says with a geeked expression on his face.

He walks back to the room and answers Nani's call.

Their convo:

J: Aye, you good?

N: Yeah, my bad. I was in the bathroom when you called me.

J: Oh it's all good. So did you have fun tonight?

N: Yeah. That was the most fun I've had in awhile.

J: I'm glad, I'm glad. But hey we should do it again sometime.

N: I'd like that😌

J: How about this Sunday I take you out to get breakfast?

N: That sounds good but I go to church early in the morning. What time are you thinking?

J: Whatever time works best for you. And so do I. What church do you go to?

**He thinks to himself: Wow..she's beautiful, smart, funny, andddd she believes in God! What more could a man ask for!**

N: How about sometime between noon and 1:00? And it's called the Vineyard. It's a really nice church. I've been going there since I was little.

J: Sounds good & Dang that's crazy, my aunt Cheryl goes there. She's actually apart of the prayer ministry team.

N: Aww for real? It's a small world. I wonder if I've ever seen her before.

J: You might have. She would always tell me to come up there but I still haven't got the chance. If I knew beautiful girls like you went there, I would've became a member a long time ago😍.

N: ☺️ Somehow you always find a way to make me smile.

J: Aye that's my goal. I gotta make you feel as good as you make me feel.

*Nani smiles and looks back to see if Ariel is still asleep*

N: Awe I didn't know I made you feel that way.

J: To be honest I've never felt so comfortable with a girl off the jump. Like tonight when we were talking at the party I felt like we've known each other forever.

N: I feel the sa--

*she gets cut off by an incoming call from her ex *

N: Sorry about that. But I definitely felt the same vibes.

J: So what are y'all getting into over there?

N: A whole bunch of nothing. Ariel fell asleep as soon as we got back and I'm just over here chillin in my room, trying to find something on Netflix. How about you?

J: Ha ha so that's why she wasn't picking up Mon's call. I'm just over here bored, wishing you were here beside me.

N: Omg good night Jermaine.

J: Night Nani. I'll see you Sunday?

N: *nods head yes* See ya then

*he throws up the piece sign and ends the call*

Nani smiles and throws her head back on a stack of pillows.

"Ugh I think I'm really falling for this guy that I JUST met!" She mumbles to herself.

Jermaine closes his eyes and says a prayer, thanking God for bringing Nani into his life.

"She's such a blessing," he whispers.

Closing words of inspiration:
Sometimes we find love where we least expect it. Many of us are in search of love that we feel is absent from our single lives, but what we fail to realize is that when we focus on ourselves, love will come find us. We also find out that we had a piece of the love we were "missing" within us the whole time.
