Mythic West I: a Union Academy Tale

Sven: come on Anastasia, mead and war is the best thrills of life than playing hide and kiss with girls from different families.

Anastasia: HEY, at least i don't get killed by an axe to the face.

as the two were arguing, Toshi was meditating in his room away from the commotion while Igraine was watching Connor spar with Sir Lancelot and Sir Percival. 

Lancelot: excellent swing there boy, at this rate, thou might go blade to blade with Octavian, nay, Sir Alaric himself.

Maximus, Alaric's brother, was seeing this from the castle wall, Lloyd looked at his student with a warm smile while he looks at him with indifference.

Maximus: I don't think the boy would survive my brother's savage sword swings.

Lloyd: why the doubt, Maximus.

he then tells his master that both himself and Alaric were made for war but not Connor, with an attitude like the boy's very own, he doubts if he can fit in with the warriors.

Connor: come on you two, i'm more than willing to decapitate grandpa's executioner.

Maximus: is that so boy?

Connor: yeah, i bet i can beat your arse in seconds, what say you.

everyone looks at Maximus, who then raised an eyebrow, thinking if Alaric bashed Connor's head too much that his brain cells went haywire.

Maximus: tis a duel you want, then BLOCK!

he dashed towards Connor with the speed of a white stag as the boy just blocked, having to fall on one knee, causing everyone to gasp.

Connor: (mind) Jesus Christ, what the fuck did his mother feed him? 

then Maximus was about to strike again with his sword, but Connor raised his shield, only for the man to trip him over and knee him in the gut, causing the boy to cough up blood.

Sven: I want to fight you.

Maximus: what are you expecting, permission, then have at thee!

Sven charged at him with his axe, but Maximus dodged and grabbed him and threw the Viking at Toshi, who dodged and jumped at him.

Toshi: let's see if you dodge this.

as he uses his Katana to attack Maximus, but he keeps on blocking until he grabbed the blade itself, causing his hand to bleed.

Stacy: you injured him, Toshi-Kun, good job.

Maximus: tis but a scratch.

as he headbutts Toshi out of the ring as Anastasia thrusts her spear towards Maximus as he strikes her with multiple blows at her while she tries to get back at him.

then Lloyd snaps his finger, causing Maximus to stop and picks the girl up, with all the quartet bruised from Maximus's attacks, Arthur sees Igraine looking at Connor with concern.

King Arthur: tend to the kids' wounds dear, they might need it.

this causes Igraine to blush as she grabs the medic stuff as she goes to the gang. 

[Castle le Nemesis]

Starscream: so, what the human says is true, Lord Megatron, a teenager from Connor's past is coming back.

Megatron: yes Starscream, Alaric is an ally to be trusted, for his wife can see the future, just like those Moirai from Hades.

Knockout: or Asgard's very own Norns.

Airachnid: if this 'Akari' ventures into our territory, then he has no choice but to fight us for the land.

Alaric: indeed, lords Vilgax, Frieza, Zod, and many more warlords agree to the contingency plans i forged, if he or his allies were to approach the West, we'll strike them like lightning. 

Jaune: but your highnesses, if Akari discovers the Mythic West, all of Union and its allies will follow as well, they love power more than anything.

Yang: hate to say it but the Faker's right, we must upgrade more of the defenses.

Megatron: well then, this is getting interesting.
