This Life

(Meant to be an ode. Aka, a poem to be sung)

The perfect body,
The perfect face,
The perfect life,
All in this place,

But do they know,
The things I've thought?
The minds that've  changed,
Torn me apart,

I got what I wanted,
But lost what I had,
Could call this place home,
For that I am glad,

I've lost my love,
I've lost my mind,
Don't known where to go,
But at least I made a pack,

Now in this place,
The cold lonely nights,
Make me miss,
Those smiles we had,

That little face,
Those little eyes,
Why did this happen?
What changed that place?

</3

They say it's the dream life,
But why do I feel so empty within?

"You never known the silent battles someone is fighting. Even the people you think you're closest too. You'll never walk in my shoes and I'll never walk in yours. And we shouldn't have to in order to empathize with each other."
