This second chapter speaks to those moments when you feel like you're not enough. It's something many of us have struggled with, especially in a world that constantly pushes comparison. We see others who seem more successful, more attractive, or more accomplished, and it can make us feel small. But those thoughts don't define your worth. You are enough, just as you are.
This is a reminder that while it's easy to be your own harshest critic, you also have the ability to be your biggest supporter. My hope is that these words offer comfort and perspective when you're feeling low and need a reminder of your value.
To be honest I've rewrote this so many times that I've lost count.
We're talking about deeply rooted insecurities that have been with us for a long time.
Nowadays you can open up your phone and see someone who is 10x times better looking and 100x more successful.
Comparison really kills.
Social media only shows you what people want you to see blah blah blah blah.
We all know what people usually say.
But seriously, it sucks.
It's demotivating and it can really ruin your day.
You are not alone, I've struggled with this for a long time and honestly I still struggle with it to this day.
You end up thinking you're not enough because others your age or younger are doing better than you are.
But we're all different people and that's what makes you and every other person special.
You are special.
There is something out there that only you'll be able to do.
Or think of.
Or create.
You've been through a lot so it's okay to give yourself some more credit.
You may be your harshest critic, but remember, you can also be your biggest supporter.
You're awesome and I love you.
So the next time you're feeling down,
Don't forget to smile.
