As he slept, the sunlight started to shine through his windows, casting a warm glow in the room. Which made him wake up slowly, with Brianna on his mind. The memories of last night flooding his head. He slowly sat up and hung his legs over the bed so his feet were touching the ground. He took a deep breath before sighing. Then he lazily got out of bed while grabbing his phone from the nightstand and headed towards the kitchen. He poured himself a cup of coffee and then stared at his phone.
He started to debate whether or not he should text her. He started to type out a message, but quickly erased it. Should he text her knowing that he wont be able to give her the attention she deserved? He knew it would be selfish of him to keep pursing her. Knowing he probably wouldn't be able to give her everything she deserved. He didn't care though, he wanted to be selfish. He wanted her more than anything right now.
He then put his phone down on the table and got up to go take shower. After his shower, he got changed and made sure to put on his best cologne. He decided he was going to leave it up to fate. If he went the same coffee shop where he first met her, then he would keep pursing her, even if it was just a fwb. He would take anything he can get at this point. He grabbed his phone, car keys, and sunglasses before heading out.
When he drove up to the coffee shop, he suddenly started to feel nervous. Which was a new feeling to him, he was never nervous when it came to woman. I suppose he felt this way because if she wasn't in there, he would try to forget about her. He really didn't want to. As he got out of his car, his heart started to beat fast. When he got up to the door, he took a deep breath before slowly pushing it open. When he walked in, his eyes scanned the room anxiously. His heart beating even faster now, so fast he felt people could hear it. He looked at each table throughly, his heart shattering each second as he didn't see her. This was it, the universe gave him his sign. He was about to walk out, but then he glanced towards the bathrooms. There she was, exciting the restroom and walking towards her table. He saw her pull out yarn and crochet hooks. She looked so beautiful in this moment, making a lump form in his throat.
He quickly put on his cool guy facade and started walking towards her. He then spoke up, "hey there stranger." He spoke in an almost cocky and arrogant tone. She looked up from her project and flashed him a polite smile. In her head she was thinking, "oh look who it is?! The jackass who stood me up mid date and never texted me again. Who does he think he is!? Coming over here and talking to me like he wasn't trying to ghost me. Worse! He got hotter if thats even possible! Fuck, why does he have to be so pretty. Ugh, now he's giving me a shit eating grin, a very cute shit eating grin albeit." He then started to speak, which made her snap out of her thoughts. "Mind if I take this seat?" He was smiling at her and acting so cool. Which seemed to piss her off, she hated how indifferent he seemed, but she nodded at him with another polite smile. He then sat down and started to think, "wow, look at her. She's acting so graceful, so demure, so kind. I was expecting her to be a bit salty, I'm so happy she's not." He then started to talk to her again. "Hey, sorry about never reaching out to you again...I got a little busy." He gave her a sheepish, dopey smile. In her head she was thinking, "sure you did, asshole! Pfft, all men are the same. Gosh do I hate men....but that smile...its so adorable. Its melting my heart. Maybe he really was busy? I should give him the benefit of the doubt." She smiled at him and said, "Its fine, things happen, right?" His face softened at her words. She was being so understanding and sweet. Made him feel even worse for ignoring her. He spoke up, "Are you doing anything tonight? Id love to take you out and make up for my bad behavior." She thought for a moment before responding. "Hmm, I don't know. What did you have in mind?" He chuckled at her response, he loved how she was making him work for it. "Let's see, you like roller coasters?" He had a huge grin on his face and she raised an eyebrow. "Roller coasters? Hmm, I wouldn't have pegged you to be a fan of amusement parks...does sound fun. Though, you should know...I have a fear of heights. So baby rides only please." He nodded, "Aww, don't worry baby, I'll be there to protect you. You can even cling onto me if you want." He then winked at her, which made her roll her eyes slightly, but there was a hint of amusement in them too. "Okay, but don't get mad if I accidentally dig my nails into you." He felt his cheeks warm up a bit from that comment. For some reason his mind made him think of how it would feel to have her nails dig into him as he fucks her. His dick slightly twitched in his pants and at this moment he was happy the tables in the coffee shop were not see through. He cleared his throat and said, "Don't worry, a little pain never hurt anybody." His voice was a bit suggestive, but she didn't seem to pick up on it. "Okay, I'll go with you then." He smiled and got up saying, "its a date then. Ill pick you up at 6." They then said their goodbyes and went on with their day.
