luffy,nami and the other straw hats had returned from the beach and were now on the ship,they slept and when morning came they all started doing their own thing, zoro was training, sanji was cooking and cleaning, robin was reading, chopper was in the medical room just making some rumble balls, usopp was talking with franky about the ship and jinbe was steering the ship,brook was sitting in the kitchen and drinking some tea,luffy was outside seating on the figurehead of the sunny like usual but was also blushing as he remembered what had happened yesterday,as he was thinking he felt someone touch his shoulder, when he looked he saw nami who had a soft smile
nami sat down next to luffy"how are you feeling today luffy?" she asked softly,still blushing from the events of yesterday
luffy put on his happy and playful grin"im doing good...what about you nami?,you seem red are you ok?"he asked, looking directly at her
nami chuckled softly"well im blushing cause a certain captain was surprisingly passionate yesterday" she said with a teasing wink
luffy started blushing again as he remembered"oh...im sorry nami i just couldn't help it"he sighed,hoping she wasn't mad
nami kissed his cheek"why are you sorry?, i loved it, it made me feel loved so don't apologize luffy" she said with a soft smile
luffy sighed with relief"thank you...you looked really beautiful yesterday" he admitted and got a little closer to her
nami started turning red at his words"aw..thank you luffy.."she got closer to him, her arm touching his and she rested her head on his shoulder
luffy felt happy,he loved nami and was happy to be able to spend more time with her"i love you nami...thanks for always being with me"he said,looking at nami with love and adoration
nami sighed happily"you're cute y'know that luffy?,i never thought you would be good with romance"she chuckled softly
as nami and luffy were talking,they heard sanji calling everyone for breakfast, luffy got up quickly and before running to the kitchen he helped nami get up before running to the kitched,being excited
as everyone was sitting at the table and eating,sanji was looking at nami and luffy, remembering how luffy wanted to cook something for nami, he already realized what was going on but decided not to tell anyone else because he didn't want things to become complicated,he decided to wait until nami and luffy told everyone so they would be ready,but he decided to help them get closer so he cleared his throat before speaking
"nami-san after breakfast, we'll need to stock up on items for the ship,we're running low so its best if we make sure we don't run out,so do you think you can find the nearest island?"he asked while taking a drag of his cigarette
nami noded"good idea sanji-kun,ill go check after we finish eating"she said as she continued eating
time skip to a few hours later
the straw hats had made it to an island with everything they needed so they got ready to get the items,sanji decided to spilt everyone up so they could get everything faster"alright,franky and usopp you two get wood and other things for repairs in case the ship gets hurt,robin-chan and chopper you two can get medicine and some books,me and brook will go and get some ingredients and drinks,jinbe you'll go with moss head so he doesn't get lost and you two search the island just incase there's anything useful"zoro got pissed
"WHAT DID YOU SAY CURLY BROWS?!"he said with annoyance
"SHUT UP MOSS HEAD!"the two of them started fighting like usual,but luffy cut them off by asking
"sanji...what about me and nami?"he asked since he didn't tell them where to go
sanji stop arguing and looks at luffy"oh you and nami-san will guard the ship...alright lets not waste time lets go"he said as everyone started walking to the island,splitting apart to get the items,nami and luffy stayed on the ship
luffy looked at nami ang hugged her"nami!,we can spend more time together now!"he said excitedly as he looked at her
nami blushed and sighed"we can...and for a couple hours too since they might take a while to come back"she said softly and grinned mischievously
luffy tilted his head in confusion"what should we do nami?"he asked softly
she chuckles softly"lets enjoy our time together...before anyone comes back"she bit her lips as she winked in playful way
luffy kissed her cheek"that sounds fun...what do you have in mind?"he asked with a soft laugh
nami gently kisses luffy before pulling back"follow me"she took his hand and led him to her room
they walked in to her room and sat down on the bed,nami started to slowly get closer to luffy before starting to kiss luffy,the kiss starting off slow and gentle but then got passionate ,their tongues meeting as their hands explore each others bodies, nami's hand touching his chest before going lower,while luffy's hand was touching her waist and her chest,luffy slowly started to remove nami's top,once it was gone only her bra was left and luffy was about to remove it but noticed how red and nervous nami looked,looking almost afraid and unsure of doing it so luffy automatically stopped and pulled back
he looked at nami with a gentle and protective look"nami...are you not ready?"he asked softly as he gently caressed her cheek
nami looked away"i-im ready!,im just..um seeing if you're ready"she said,wanting to do it but being extremely unsure and scared
luffy kissed her cheek lovingly before smiling"its ok nami...there's no need to lie...we don't need to do it now,put your top back on ok?"he said with in a soft tone,not wanting to rush nami or force her to do anything she isn't ready to do
nami got calmer and slowly put her top back on"thank you luffy...im sorry i...i don't think im ready yet"she explained nervously
luffy hugged her and gently caressed her hair"it's ok...we don't need to do anything right now..maybe we can just cuddle?"he said happily,making nami slightly tear up from his words
"thank you luffy"she sniffled and they both started cuddling,luffy was holding nami close to her as nami was fully relaxed,happy to be close to the person she loved
nami gulped nervously as she looked at luffy"um luffy..is it ok if you,sleep with me in my room from now on?"she asked softly,wanting to be with him more
luffy grinned happily and noded"of course,id love to...that just means we can cuddle more often"he said with a playful wink
they both continued to cuddle for a few hours before slowly drifting to sleep in each others arms,not caring if anyone saw them like that, by the time the other straw hats came back it was already night so they were tired,they unloaded the things onto the ship before going to sleep themselves
