my captains soft side (Luffy x Nami)

chapter 8

nami was out on the ship,leaning against the railing as the other straw hats were back from the island,none of them found anything that important so they had to leave empty handed,luffy was standing next nami,bored but happy to be next to nami

luffy looked at nami and asked"nami can't we go somewhere fun?"he asked,being bored

nami sighed"and where can we go luffy....there's no interesting place around here"she responded while looking back at luffy

luffy thought for a few seconds before responding"oh i know...lets go back to wano!"he said excitedly which made nami a little surprised

she thought of the idea before smiling"i mean....we can go there...we can refill on food and other things"she responded softly

luffy happily hugged her"really!?...i can't wait!..ill tell everyone!"luffy ran off,and loudly screams "EVERYONE WE'RE GOING TO WANO"he shouted,feeling extremely happy

nami sighed and smiled softly"adorable"nami said under her breath as she stared at the sea again

after a few hours

the straw hats had made it to wano,luffy quickly ran in making the other straw hats sigh

zoro stood up "we have to get him...ill get him before he gets lost"zoro says and gets ready but usopp and sanji stopped him

usopp and sanji look at zoro before screaming "YOU'RE THE ONE THAT ALWAYS GETS LOST YOU IDIOT"they said at the same time

zoro groaned and looks away,nami sighs and just goes after luffy,not wanting him to get too distracted,as nami was walking she accidently bumped into someone"sorry im just trying to find my cap-"before she can finish her sentence she gets cut off by the man that she bumped into

"what are you doing!?..can't you look where you're going?!?"he says,being extremely annoyed,but then he looks nami up and down before smirking"what do we have here?...such a beauty"he walks closer to her,two of his friends being close to him

nami gets annoyed"what a creep...just go away"she tried to leave but he stops her by grabbing her wrist

"where do you think you're going?...you have to make it up to me since you bumped me"he said and before nami could stop him the other two friends steal her clima-tact,making her defenseless

nami starts getting nervous"h-hey you creeps...just let go..."she tries to sound strong but they see through her act

"oh what are you gonna do?...there's 3 of us and 1 of you"he chuckles coldly,one of his friends speaks up"if you just go along we might just go easy on you"the three of them laugh as they speak of what they're going do to her,nami starts trembling,feeling extremely scared since she couldn't even protect herself,just then when the man goes to speak he feels a hand on his shoulder,he turns around and sees luffy

luffy looks at him coldly"...let go of my navigator..now"he says coldly,being extremely pissed

the three guys laugh,not knowing who luffy is so the man lets go of nami and the three of them pull out their pistols"aww look at this...is this girl that important?...we'll let you get off easily if you just walk awa-"as he's talking he gets punched hard,getting sent flying and hit a brick wall that breaks a bunch of his bones and ribs,the other two guys try to shoot luffy but he just beats them easily,brutally beating them and making them go unconscious and have broken bones,ribs,arms and even legs

luffy looks at nami and hugs her tightly as she cries on his shoulder"shh its ok...im here...im sorry for being late"he comforts her,wanting her to feel safe

nami continues to cry on luffys shoulder,trembling uncontrollably as she held onto him,just then the shogun of wano momonosuke makes it to the scene and looks at luffy"luffy...i apologize for being late.."he looks at the unconscious bodies and sighs"i wanted to greet you personally...i didn't think the people of wano would do this...i apologize this happened to nami,i will make sure those three are arrested and are used as an example so nobody tries this again"he says with a bow,feeling extremely bad

luffy sighs"its ok momo...we can talk later...alright?"luffy says softly to momo as he continued to gently stroke her hair

momo nods and gets the 3 men taken away and he waves goodbye as he walks away,nami held onto luffy for dear life,her clima-tact was on the floor now but she was too scared to let go,luffy grabs the clima-tact and picks up nami before taking her to a nearby hotel and he gently lays nami on the bed

luffy got in the bed next to her and hugged her"are you feeling better nami?"he asked softly

nami sniffled and finally looked at him"y-yes...a little.."she weakly said as she tried not to cry again

luffy kissed her softly,making her relax a little more,after a few minutes he pulled away"just relax..ill go get some snacks ok?"he said with a happy grin,making nami weakly smile

luffy got up from the bed and went to get some snacks,after a few minutes he came back with a bunch of snacks,meat and tangerines"i got some!"he says happily

he got in bed with nami and they both started eating,nami started getting calmer and calmer until she was back to her old self"thank you luffy...i was so scared...i thought they were gonna.."she stops herself,not wanting to finish the sentence

luffy smiled softly and kissed her cheek"no problem...ill always save you no matter what...after all you're my navigator and my partner!"he kisses her cheek 

nami started blushing but couldn't help but smile"you're amazing you know that luffy?...this is why i love you"she said softly before kissing him lovingly

luffy got a little surprised but didn't stop her,the kiss started getting more passionate as they both relaxed into the bed,after a few minutes nami pulled back and hugged luffy"this is nice..."she took out her transponder snail and called the other straw hats before telling them that they should stay in wano for a couple of days to enjoy themselves which everyone agreed to,she hung up and looked at luffy with a smirk"now...we can enjoy ourselves~"she said with a wink

luffy chuckled softly and kissed her forehead"well im not refusing"he said playfully

they stripped and luffy made sure to use protection before they started making love,they went at it for a couple of hours and when they finally stopped they started cuddling

nami nuzzled her face in luffy's neck"that was incredible luffy...thanks for helping me forget what happened"she said lovingly,being grateful

luffy chuckled happily as he relaxed"no problem...lets relax and enjoy some rest...we can have fun tomorrow and explore more of wano!"he said happily as he held nami close

they both slowly started drifting to sleep,holding each other close and feeling safe in each others arms
