Nick had carried me into the house while our parents peacefully slept.
As soon as Nick got me into my room I vomited into the small trash bin beside my bed.
"Lay on your side." Nick said while putting a pillow under my head and loosening the tie on my dress.
"Do you mind me helping you change into something more comfortable?" He asks.
I didn't know what was going on.
My brain wasn't processing the words I was hearing.
I only nodded, just wanting to sleep it off.
Nick undressed me and helped me into my pajamas.
I had fallen asleep, until I felt weight behind me on my bed.
I felt an arm wrap around my waist and a blanket cover my lower body.
I look over, and through the blurriness of my eyes I could make out a silhouette of Nick beside me.
I ignored him and soon fell asleep.
In the morning I was sure that was all a dream, a horrible hoax.
But when I turned over to the empty side of my bed there was a gold chain on my nightstand that belonged to Nick.
I stay in bed as long as I possibly can before my mom came in and opened the curtains.
"Morning sweetie. Today William and I are going on a two week cruise, it'll be you and Nicolas here and William and I think it's great for bonding time."
I groaned and covered my face with my blanket.
"Cmon Noah, don't give me that reaction. We can't cancel the cruise. Come down for breakfast."
Once she left my room I sat up, now realizing Nick has saw me naked as he's the one who changed me out of my dress and into my pajamas.
I could smell the alcohol radiating from my skin.

After I showered I made my way into the dining area for breakfast.
And then they broke the news to Nick about having to stay with me for two weeks.
"I trust that you will take care of Noah as she is your little sister. If you leave somewhere, take her with you." William spoke.
I rested my head on the edge of the table, trying not to see Nicks reaction.
But it was way different than I expected.
"No worries, she's in good hands." Nick spoke, leaving the table.
I poke at my food for a few more minutes and go up to my room.
I opened a book and began reading. I read for hours on end, until someone knocked on my door.
    And in walked Nick.
"When they leave I'm going to a party. You aren't able to come cuz what happened lastnight. But I'll be home by midnight." He said, walking away.
Nick hasn't noticed that he had left his chain in my room, so I playfully put it on and completely forgot about it.
I laid in bed almost too long, I thought to myself, "maybe I should tidy up and then take a nap."
So I did.
I nearly hung my clothes in the closet and organized my bookshelf. I cleaned up my vanity and neatly placed my collection of shoes in my closet floor.
I lit a candle and dimmed the lights before I opened my favorite book.
I must've dozed off, because when I woke up, my book was beside me and my candle was blown out.
My lights were also turned off and I had now been covered by my blanket.
My bracelet was also on my nightstand.
I sit up confused, my brain still half asleep.
And then I walked downstairs to get a snack and I find Nick there.
"You had fallen asleep so I blew out your candle, removed your bracelet and turned the lights off." He said while stirring his tea.
"Thanks." I say to the weird gesture.
"Welcome." He replied.
I went into the pantry and chose a blueberry muffin and then I brewed some more tea.
I could feel nicks gaze burning into me, though I was only wearing a tshirt and shorts.
