Namjoon and Y/N were sitting together in silence when he looked at her and said, "Back then, you were so talkative."

She chuckled bitterly. "Back then? You're absolutely right." There was a hint of sadness in her voice.

"I always wanted to be at my best for you. I wanted you to enjoy every happiness in this world. I didn't realize the most valuable thing you were expecting from me. That day, our anniversary, problems arose at the office. One employee misplaced an important file, which was crucial for a meeting. We almost lost a 10-crore project because of that. I was so stressed. You know what? I had arranged a special gift for our anniversary days in advance. But, because I was caught up in that chaos, I missed the delivery call, and it got cancelled." Namjoon wiped away the tears that had formed in his eyes.

"Don't I deserve a chance? Am I really that bad?" he asked, his voice breaking. Y/N's eyes were also filled with tears.

"I didn't know... I didn't even try to understand. I'm sorry," she said softly, while Namjoon looked down, trying to control his emotions.

*Winter Bear* began to play in the background.

"You love Hoseok, right?" Namjoon asked. His question stunned her for a moment.

"I don't know. I feel safe around him. Even though I haven't met him in person, it feels like I've known him for decades. I wish I could be with him forever. If that’s love, then I am madly in love," she replied, and Namjoon managed a bitter smile.

"I'm sorry," she said again, as warm tears began to flow down her cheeks.

"No, don’t apologize. Loving someone isn't a crime. We are officially divorced now. You have every right to love him. But remember, if you ever feel like coming back to me—to erase all the scars and start anew—my door will always be open for you," he said. She offered him a bitter smile. They both sat together, gazing up at the beautiful stars.

The next day, at an art gallery, Y/N removed the cloth from a painting, revealing a stunning portrait of Hoseok. He was smiling widely, the details vibrant and lively. She had also added the flower he had asked her to draw.

Everyone in the gallery applauded.

Hoseok and Namjoon watched with wide smiles. Hoseok's father approached him and side-hugged him, saying, "You look so handsome and ethereal, thanks to her touch." Hoseok's eyes glistened with emotion.

Later, after the ceremony, Hoseok walked over to Y/N. "So, how is it?" she asked eagerly.

"Amazing," he replied with a smile.

Namjoon watched them from a distance before deciding to leave.

"Only words? Don't I get a gift?" she teased.

"Of course, you will receive a big surprise," Hoseok said playfully.

"Well, I'm leaving the country for a meeting," Hoseok mentioned.

"A meeting? A teachers' meeting or something?" she inquired, realizing he was a teacher in front of her.

"No, it's for another case—related to a charity event," he clarified. She nodded.

"So, when will you be back?" she asked.

"Soon," he answered with a smile, watching her closely.

In a garden, Namjoon and Hoseok spoke. "I'm stepping down from my role now. You’re responsible for leading her life. I have a message for her in her drawing book; make sure to give it to her," Hoseok instructed.

Namjoon nodded.

Days passed, and Namjoon watched as Y/N became completely engrossed in her painting.

He approached her and asked, "Hey, don’t you need some rest?"
