The dim lights of the karaoke room cast a warm glow over Jeonghan and S.Coups as they settled in for their night of fun. The walls were lined with vibrant posters of their favorite artists, and the air was filled with the smell of popcorn and the soft sound of laughter from the adjoining rooms. Jeonghan felt a mix of nerves and excitement—this was more than just a night out; it felt like a step into something new and exhilarating.

“Okay, I’m picking the first song!” S.Coups declared, scrolling through the extensive song list with a determined look on his face. Jeonghan leaned back in his seat, trying to appear casual, but he couldn’t help the flutter in his stomach at the sight of S.Coups’s focused expression. There was something about his demeanor—confident yet approachable—that made Jeonghan’s heart race.

“Make it a good one,” Jeonghan teased, attempting to keep his tone light while his mind raced with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. “No pressure, but I’m expecting a show.”

S.Coups smirked, raising an eyebrow playfully. “I’ll make sure to impress you then.” With a final tap, the room filled with the opening notes of a popular ballad. He stood up, giving Jeonghan a playful look before launching into the song, his voice rich and captivating.

Jeonghan watched, mesmerized. There was something intoxicating about S.Coups when he sang; his passion seemed to envelop the entire room, drawing Jeonghan in like a moth to a flame. He found himself tapping his foot along with the rhythm, the energy between them palpable.

As S.Coups finished his performance, the room erupted in applause—though it was mostly Jeonghan clapping enthusiastically, unable to contain his admiration. “That was amazing! You should do this more often,” he exclaimed, his cheeks flushed with excitement and admiration.

“Thanks! Now it’s your turn,” S.Coups said, handing the microphone over with a cheeky grin that made Jeonghan’s heart skip a beat. “You can’t let me have all the fun.”

Jeonghan hesitated, a wave of self-doubt washing over him. “I don’t know… What if I mess up?” The thought of singing in front of S.Coups, someone he admired so much, made his palms sweaty.

S.Coups stepped closer, lowering his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. “I’ll be right here, cheering you on. Just think of it as a duet, even if I’m not singing.” His sincere encouragement made Jeonghan’s heart flutter, giving him the push he needed.

With a deep breath, Jeonghan scrolled through the song list, settling on a classic he loved. He stood up, heart racing as he selected the song and took the microphone. The familiar tune began, and he closed his eyes, letting the music wash over him.

As he sang, the nervousness melted away, replaced by the thrill of the moment. He could feel S.Coups’s eyes on him, supportive and encouraging, and it gave him the confidence to pour his heart into the performance. Jeonghan let the lyrics guide him, his voice growing stronger as he lost himself in the melody.

When he finished, he opened his eyes to see S.Coups clapping wildly, a genuine smile lighting up his face. “That was incredible! You have a great voice!” he exclaimed, stepping forward to give Jeonghan a quick hug, the warmth of their bodies sending a jolt of electricity through Jeonghan.

“Thanks,” Jeonghan replied, still buzzing from the adrenaline. “I didn’t think I could do that in front of you.”

“See? I told you it would be fun,” S.Coups said, his smile contagious. “Now, it’s my turn again.”
