The days leading up to SEVENTEEN's comeback were a whirlwind of rehearsals, promotional activities, and intense anticipation. Jeonghan felt the thrill coursing through him as the date approached. Their last comeback had received immense love from their fans, and they were determined to exceed expectations this time. The pressure was palpable, but it only fueled his excitement.

On the day of their final rehearsal, the atmosphere in the practice room buzzed with energy. Jeonghan arrived early, eager to get in some extra practice before the rest of the members showed up. As he warmed up, he felt a familiar presence beside him. S.Coups joined him, his hair slightly damp from the shower, a determined glint in his eye.

“Ready to crush it today?” S.Coups asked, a playful smile on his lips.

“Always,” Jeonghan replied, matching his enthusiasm. “Let’s show everyone what we’ve got.”

As they practiced, their movements synced perfectly, showcasing their growing chemistry not just as a couple but as partners on stage. Jeonghan marveled at how easily they communicated through their dance, their shared passion shining brighter with each step. The moment was electric, and he felt more connected to S.Coups than ever.

The rest of the members trickled in, each bringing their unique energy to the room. Mingyu and Wonwoo exchanged playful banter, while Hoshi took on the role of the enthusiastic choreographer, pushing everyone to give their best. Jeonghan couldn’t help but smile at the camaraderie surrounding him. They were a family, united in their love for music and each other.

As they moved through the choreography, Jeonghan stole glances at S.Coups, who was focused but occasionally caught him watching. They exchanged knowing smiles that sent butterflies fluttering in Jeonghan’s stomach. It was a dance of their own, one that balanced professionalism and their growing affection.

“Alright, let’s take a break!” Hoshi called out after a particularly intense run-through. The members sank onto the floor, panting and laughing. Jeonghan leaned against S.Coups, who casually draped his arm over Jeonghan's shoulders. It felt natural, a gesture that had become second nature.

“Feeling good?” S.Coups asked softly, his voice just above a whisper, meant only for Jeonghan.

“Yeah, I think we’re really getting there,” Jeonghan replied, his heart racing at the closeness. “What about you?”

“Same here. I’m excited but a little nervous too. I just want everything to go perfectly.”

Jeonghan nodded, understanding the weight of S.Coups’ words. “We’ve got this. We’re SEVENTEEN, and we always pull through together.”

After the break, they resumed practicing, fine-tuning every move and note. The synergy in the room was palpable, and Jeonghan felt their bond strengthening with each passing hour. The practice ended with them all feeling exhausted yet exhilarated, knowing they had pushed themselves to the limit.

Later that evening, they gathered at a nearby restaurant for a celebratory dinner. As they enjoyed their meal, the conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter and teasing. Jeonghan couldn’t help but feel grateful for the moments they shared, especially with S.Coups sitting across from him, his eyes sparkling with joy.

“Hey, can we get a toast?” Hoshi called out, raising his glass. “To our hard work, our comeback, and to making unforgettable memories together!”

Everyone raised their glasses, echoing Hoshi’s sentiments, and Jeonghan felt a swell of pride wash over him. They had come so far, and tonight felt like a celebration of their journey together.

After the toast, Jeonghan felt a nudge from S.Coups. “You’re awfully quiet,” he teased, leaning in closer. “Thinking about the stage?”

“Something like that,” Jeonghan admitted, trying to mask the blush creeping up his cheeks. “Just reflecting on how far we’ve come.”

“I know what you mean,” S.Coups replied, his expression sincere. “I’m glad we’re on this journey together.”

Jeonghan met his gaze, feeling the weight of their unspoken feelings lingering between them. “No matter what happens, I’m here for you.”

Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of dessert, and the group’s playful energy returned. They dug into the sweet treats, sharing bites and laughing as they reminisced about past performances and inside jokes. Jeonghan found himself feeling lighter, the worries of the world melting away in the warmth of their friendship.

As the night drew to a close, Jeonghan and S.Coups walked side by side, the streets illuminated by the soft glow of streetlights. The air was cool, and a comfortable silence enveloped them as they strolled back to their dorm. Jeonghan felt a sense of contentment, the kind that came from being surrounded by those he loved.

Once they reached the dorm, the members dispersed to their rooms, tired but buzzing with excitement for the upcoming day. Jeonghan and S.Coups lingered in the hallway, the air thick with unspoken words.

“Can we talk for a second?” S.Coups asked, his tone serious yet gentle.

“Of course,” Jeonghan replied, his heart racing at the prospect of a private conversation.

They moved to the living room, away from prying eyes. S.Coups took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair. “I’ve been thinking a lot about us and how our relationship fits into everything we’re doing. I just want to make sure we’re on the same page.”

Jeonghan felt a flutter of anxiety but steadied himself. “I want us to be honest with each other. What are you feeling?”

S.Coups met his gaze, vulnerability shining in his eyes. “I love what we have, but I’m also aware of how it can be perceived. I don’t want our relationship to distract from our work or make things uncomfortable for the group. I just want to be sure that we’re ready for whatever comes next.”

Jeonghan nodded, appreciating S.Coups’ thoughtfulness. “I feel the same way. I want to be there for you and for the team. It’s important to me that we keep our priorities straight.”

“Then let’s promise to communicate,” S.Coups suggested, his expression softening. “If anything feels off, we talk about it. I don’t want to lose what we have because we’re too scared to address things.”

“Agreed,” Jeonghan replied, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. “We can make this work, I know we can.”

S.Coups smiled, a genuine warmth spreading across his face. “Thanks for understanding. I’m really lucky to have you by my side.”

In that moment, Jeonghan felt a surge of affection, and he reached out, taking S.Coups’ hand in his. Their fingers intertwined, a small yet significant gesture of their commitment to each other.

“Let’s just take things one step at a time,” Jeonghan said, squeezing S.Coups’ hand gently. “We’ll navigate this together.”

As they stood there, hands clasped, Jeonghan felt a sense of certainty settle within him. The path ahead might be uncertain, but they would face it side by side, ready to tackle whatever challenges lay ahead.

With their hearts aligned and their goals set, they stepped into the new chapter of their lives—one that would lead them to the stage, where their dreams awaited.
